I'm sure the results will be ugly

A lot have wondered and speculated, soon we will all know facts! This will be very interesting!
-
@Dave@DDMWorks do you have some reconfigurations that you are testing for improvement?
-
@Dave@DDMWorks Wish I had known, would have met you up there. It’s about 20 minutes away.
-
Good for you guys. R&D money well spent. Have some fun. Would be lying if I said didn't want to be there.
-
no sprinkles there ..... they all blow away
-
I can think of at least 3 things to do to the front, just by adding some filler pieces. Good luck and have fun I could have been there also if needed. I would have had the pieces ready to install when I got there.

BAD ASS! A lot of us have been waiting for this day. Wish you had a few of them with you in different configurations to see the differences windshield and tops make... But none the less I am stoked to see what you come up with.

Long day! We thought we were only going to be there for a couple hours, but ended up spending about 3.5 hours testing a lot of different setups to start to get a baseline on the Slingshot and what was making changes. Definitely looking forward to going back for some more testing with some more prototypes. We did end up with some changes we will be running in the 1/2 mile event and also some changes for the road courses! Jeff up at A2 is great to work with, it was really a great experience!

Very nice...

@Ruptured Duck - You would love it up there, they have 6 views of each run that are taken at the beginning of the run, at the 1st sample and the 2nd sample. Then all the data is put into an excel spreadsheet with all of the drag, lift and forces for the front, back and side loads, we have a lot of information to get through!
-
Did you see any interesting or unexpected turbulence or vortices?
-
Where's the smoke and video?

I can already feel 150mph in my future! Thank you @Dave@DDMWorks for taking the time to go up there and get the data.
As for the answer to "where are the pictures with the smoke trails"
I'm guessing their won't be a lot of technical information posted till after October 22nd. But that is strictly my personal guess.....

Can't wait to see the results, just to satisfy my own curiosity... Thinking there is a massive "dead air" (static) air space behind the Sling!
