I timed this about as close as you can. One side had just started touching metal to metal.
Changed both rotors (I have a thing about turning rotors). And sticking some of those new Wagner OEX pads on. I'll give them some time to bed in and I'll report if they actually do stop better then the factory pads.
Nice pads - I wonder how something like that would perform on the SS
I thought I was going to have a miniature meltdown a minute ago. I rolled my tire over to put it back on and saw this.
As you can see it is in a really nice Michelin tire. 
So I was relieved when I pulled it out and this is what I found. Never did get into the goodie part of the tire.
Not sure. I would be curious also.
I bet in conjunction with drilled or slotted rotor you may have a COOL set of brakes - pun intended
I love those Michelins. I've run them for years on the Escalade and now the 2500HD.

I have brakes on both axles on the trailer. I can stop on a dime and give you 9¢ back. 
I keep the gain on 6.5 to 7 in the truck.
