if I didn't have a job that allowed me to design install and test things this would get expensive. Unlike a boat the resale value should always be good...
Jeeps and off-roading, rock crawling have been my hobby for about 23 years now.

Well let's see. There are so many of them! Love things that go bang, and seems I'm always needing to feed them. Wife has 2005 Harley Super Glide Custom we bought new that has 55,000 on it. Just put cam upgrade, high volume oil pump, hydro cam chain tensioners, Fueling lifters, bearings and so on into it. I have a 2012 Road King with 24,000 on it. With only 600 miles on the Odo, I put in Screamin' Eagle 259 cams, Fueling lifters, Tuner, Breather, V&H 2 into 1 Pro pipe and Burly 13" Ape Hangers on it. I also have a 1994 Z71 that is about as nice as one you will find in the Midwest. Takes some $$ thrown at it to keep it that way.
Oh, did I mention we are completely remodeling the kitchen? Not to mention we have grand kids, they can be a money pit too!

Yeah @Ruptured Duck I've heard it's a first class event but it's one I've never made it to. We use to make as many off shore power boat races and poker runs as we could but when I changed jobs several years ago I went from 5 weeks vacation a year to none. I'm back up to 3 weeks now and damn if my company (General Electric Appliances) wasn't sold to the chinese. I'm hearing some nasty rumors about vacation slashing again. Looks like the RV might be doing alot of sittin' around the next few years. Damn it man ! But I promise if I ever do make it to Lake Lanier I will surely look you up.

Is that one of the kits that Harbor Freight sells?
It looks like a pretty decent greenhouse. -
This may not be the proper thread to post this but I didn't think it deserved it's own thread atleast not on this forum.
I have a friend whom along with some friends is making an attempt at his lifelong dream...
Jimmy owns "The Lucky Lady" ,the star of a 70's movie of the same name, a 1970's wood Chinese Junk with quite a history and he is on his way to Key West. I showed him how to install a couple solar panels on the roof a couple weeks ago and he left the Riverpark Place Marina in downtown Louisville, Ky. Saturday morning. I got an emergency call from Phil,a mutual friend, this morning and they have made it to Cannelton Dam which is about 86 miles. He lost a prop on one of his engines so a couple of us were scrambling this morning for a quick solution. Well as luck would have it an American made prop won't fit on a chinese propshaft the taper angle is different. Damn it man. Luckily another friend of mine owns Stamler Machine and he is the go to guy when it comes to repairing or making propshafts. So after a little bit of coaching from Jerry, Phil and Scott (both ex co-workers and GE retirees) were able to make a new 2" stainless steel 6' propshaft. Soon the group will be back on their Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn adventure. Good times.Anyone interested in following their adventure can do so at http://www.theluckyladynextchapter.blogspot.com
Good luck Jimmy and crew
