I love this forum! We all need a good laugh sometimes! You all never disappoint!
Wow....checked this out. Never even knew it was out there.
Think I might have just found my new Money PIt, lol. Ok, so we need the Site Admins for iracing to get a Slingshot in there too now.
lol that would be great
This is not an actual pic of my boat but mine is identical with "baby blue" sides and trust me it is a money pit... Twin 454's 850 HP/2 mpg

She's a beauty Brother! Is this what you meant?!

Exactly ... she will hold 150 gallons and run 75 mph on a good day. So at $3.00/gallon (boat dock prices) It cost $450.00 to fill it up and if I could run full throttle for 2 hours without blowing a motor the tank would be empty. That's about $3.75 a minute
But hey who's counting I'm sure there are some worse examples out there.
Sounds like a bargain to me

Boats are like divorces ... The reason they cost so much is because they are worth it ! Lol

Looks like that's swing arm bait you're using.

Owned this for 16 years. Besides a "boat load" of money in gas I've only had to spend $7000.00 in tops and upholstery and $13000.00 for a blown motor. Of course this doesn't include electronics, moorage, insurance etc, etc. Just scared the shite outta myself when I sit back and think of it.

Beautiful boat bro!! Reminds me of when I had a boat and all the "friends" I accumulated wanting to ride. I finally figured out it was MUCH more cost effective for ME to have a friend with a boat and sell mine!!

@Bill Martin we too learn that the best boat to have is a friend's boat, and also how quickly friends disappear when you sell your boat
LOL!! If I ever get another boat it's gonna be
Hey @Canoehead I owned your boats baby sister the (2455 sierra sunbridge) before I bought the Scarab I presently have. I just loved weekending on that boat. I could carry the jetski with us on the swim platform and the aft cabin was like sleeping in a cocoon.
Not really a hobby, more of a passion, but definitely a money pit....well worth it though.
