This about makes me cry. Reminds me of our rescue dog Louie. He is the happiest, attentive, loving, and appreciative dog I have ever had the privilege to share our home with. Want to take all the dogs home that I see at shelters. My wife is even more dog crazy than me!!!
Rut-Row Shaggy Lahr. Got him in late May from a soldier that couldn’t take him back. He will be three in October. Wonderful dog (98% of the time)

My wife and I rescued this little kitten from a six lane highway as she was trying to cross the road. She made it halve way and was in my lane. This was during the hurricane and it was pouring down rain. We estimated her to be about 4 weeks old and she was cold.
So we brought her home and set up another cat litter box in the guest bathroom until she’s old enough to use the cat door.
For now we keep her isolated from the two boy cats we have and are slowly introducing them to one another.
I think we are becoming the old cat peopl with the cool bat mobile as some kids call it.
Shere Khan aka "Big Boy" prowls around hunting things that creep, fly, slither... plays a game of cat and mouse with them, then dismembers and/or eats his prey. He got stung in the mouth by a scorpion tonight.. think its his first domesticated lesson learned in hunting things that can also "bite" him back.. a lesson he will remember - when the next one he tries to play with does the same thing. Most times, he has hunted down a fly or moth, or harmless spider... we are glad to let him exterminate those, but we try to keep him away from the painful stingers... this is my first full blooded maine coon. It is true that these cats only breathe so they can hunt.
This is our grand dog, Finnegan Murphy. He and our daughter spent the weekend with us to escape the noise and commotion of Bikes, Blues, and bbq in Fayetteville this weekend. He loves @dangerdarrell and me. He can hardly wait to escape our daughters SUV and see us. I miss him already.

Boxer mix some low life dropped off a month ago, about half starved, obviously badly mistreated. Couldn't get within 50 ft of her. Began feeding her morning and evening but it took two weeks before she decided to trust my wife and I. When it happened, it was instantaneous on her part. Shes a sweet, gentle, loving, girl, under two years old, 63 lbs, who won our hearts. Spayed last Monday, shots, dewormed, etc. Joins our other two dogs and two cats (who are clearly not enthused with her size). Interestingly, her eating went down gradually from about 6-8 cups kibble a day to currently 3--4 top qual kibble/meats/supplements. As she socializes with the others, we expect to bring her in the house before it gets cold. She now has 5 blankets in garage between car and Slingshot.
You should get him or her declawed. Cute kitty!
BLESS YOU!

Just has to post this one!!
Our daughter brought her two rescue dogs out to do a photo shoot of them in the granddaughter's electric Sling. They both had very bad treatment before she got them. She treats them like royalty and they just suck it up!!
