I kept putting off installing the Alpha reinforced hood brackets and no longer have any instructions, if any were included. Thought I'd ask for any installation/adjustment tips before I started.
Any tips on installing & adjusting my Alpha reinforced hood brackets?

Mount the top of the brackets flush with the frame, from there you adjust the latches by trial ad error by test closing the hood. Start with the mounting the latches up(or high) then adjust down and in(not level). In a short time you will know what doesn’t work and wha seems to help. Very rare to install and is perfect without messing with it a while.
Hope this helps, no clear method.

I marked the location of the originals with tape and a marker. Measured the height and put the new brackets as close as possible. It only took a couple small adjustments.
