@KayTwo WOW! what an awesome adventure. How are the slings holding up? fenders, roof, drive train? Again, proof positive that these things can travel. Please keep the pics coming. Have fun and stay safe.
I'm not sure about the others, but mine started making a noise shortly after crossing the border. I'm don't know what it is yet but it sounds like 'canuckcanuckcanuckcanuck'. Any thoughts?

It must be the stuff you're putting in the tank at the gas stations. It's had gallons of gasoline all its life, and now you're putting in petrol

I've never been up that way. First time seeing pictures of the area..... definitely on the bucket list now! That is beautiful, and I must see it for myself in the near future! Thanks for posting these Jared!
My sentiments exactly Brent! And you said that much more eloquently than I could have...
I was just going to say... "F#cking nature! That's damn beautiful @KayTwo! Glad you all are safe and keep at it!"

Just got back to the hotel from a long day of Slingfesting. We started with coffee and donuts from Tim Hortons at 7:30 then left for a ride at 9, and did the first two legs of the poker run. Stopped at Sundre Museum for lunch, a long break and the show and shine judging. Then we left for a long ride we were told would be two and a half hours, and got back after 7 pm. Went right to the dinner and raffle drawing which went to about 10:30. I was digging through the sling looking for parts when they announced the show and shine winner but I'm sure someone will post soon and tell you and me who it was ( @Bu11sh1t I'm sure - there was no close second) . We skipped the fireworks and beat feet back to the room for some much needed sleep. Going to brunch in the morning then install a couple rear protection plates, eat a farewell lunch before heading to Calgary airport to drop off my wife and head for home w@'BryanL'.

I posted a few pics in the Slingfest thread of the actual event. Here's some more of the adventure, meaning the actual drive.
Day 1 homebound. Sundre to Medicine Hat by way of the Canadian Badlands, the ferry at Bleriot, Horse Thief Canyon, and Drumheller. Left mid-afternoon, 7 hrs on the road, 275 miles.
First, a couple shots of the Badlands.
Then we got to the ferry at Bleriot. Probably barely 50 yds of river, cable-drawn ferry.
Then more of the Badlands, and Horse Thief Canyon.
Then it was a couple hours of open prairie to get to Medicine Hat.
Tomorrow will be more of the same. 2 hrs to the border, then Eastern MT, to ND and the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Expect at 12-14 hour day tomorrow.
