When did you repalce the OE tires

Are you letting the tire shops jack up your slingshot and if so are you pointing out the jacking locations or are you taking the tires/rims off and driving them into the tire shop and reinstalling them yourself?

I jack it up myself. Take the tire to my car dealer for mounting. $130 for tire, $23 for mount & balance. I jack the SL up using my Pit Bull motorcycle jack.

Hmm I have a pitbull swing arm stand you use that?

No swing table. I just placed it under the frame on the rear and lift it a few inches. Man if the frame bends there it would tell me Polaris did a cheap ass job building this thing. I have not raised the front since the tires will go another season.

I noticed today after getting back home, that the BFG on the back is not cupped in the middle anymore after a week at the SSITS 16 but is almost to the wear bar. 10,000 miles on this tire

That real good Fun - I run the same tire and change the rear with each oil change about 3K
I have dropped the pressure to 28lbs

Replaced mine after I took a screw driver to the rear. Should have done it first along with shocks. Nitto 555 had the OEM garbage on there for almost a year.

600 miles. Wanted wider and grippier tires.

Whats the widest tire I can put on the stock SL rim keeping the same height?

BTW, got new Wheels as well.

Enter the stock tire size and then try different potential candidate tire sizes. The key is to stay within a few percent of the stock diameter. For example, I replaced my base 265/35R18 tire with a 295/30R18. The new tire is 24.97" compared to the stock tire diameter of 25.3". At the same RPMs that yielded 65 mph with the stock tire, the new 295 tire does 64.14 mph. In terms of percentage, the 295/30 tire is 1.3% smaller than the 265/35 stock tire. You should also keep in mind the maximum tire size recommended for your wheel rim width. The tire manufacturer's websites usually list this info.
I replaced my stock base tire with another Kenda at around 10000 miles and then replaced it with a Sumitomo HTR Z III 295/30R18 tire. I've got almost 21000 miles on my stock Base front tires and have ordered Sumitomo HTR Z III 225/45R17 tires to replace them.

I had been leaning towards the Goodyear Eagle F1s before I decided to try the Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs. Disocunt Tire had the Goodyears in the Base Stock sizes, but I wanted to go to a larger, matched tire on all 3 tires. The Goodyears have a 45000 mile warranty which Discount Tire reduces by half if the tires are mounted on a vehicle where they can't be rotated. I liked the Goodyears due to the hopefully longer tire life. If theGoodyears are indeed good for 22,500 miles, that's the equivalent of twice the Kenda mileage I got on my rears and they offer much better traction.

I do believe the largest size tire that you could use and stay within the closest overall height would be the 285-30-20. if you go with the 285-35-20 , you'll be too tall and it could cause some issues.

Those pinheads must have smoked some crack laced with bat guano! I'm not paying high for a tire so Polaris can have their advertising on them. It's bad enough they even built these damn things. Now all I do is spend money on Mods!

No way. It takes me 15 minutes and is less hassle. No test driving my sling because you changed the tire! I'm just taking in the wheel and tire. I am worried about them balancing.

Getting new BF Goodrich sport comp 2 put on my base rims tomorrow. I wanted to go with Nitto but they did not offer the exact same size.

just put a Nitto on my rear rim. Still got stock up front. Just hated the stock tire for hydroplaning in the rear.

worth the expense imho
