I modified mine today and used a section of the stock rubber boot to add a little support under the leather boot. My boot seems to bunch up at the very back on the top where it goes through the console. I've seen others that appear to stay more full in that area.
If anyone else has this combo can you post a pic of that area so I can compare it to mine please.
Thanks,
Stephen -
I made the size limit of pics 4meg. I have some software uploading that will automatically resize it. If you want to go ahead and post pics up to 4meg go ahead...

Why do I not have one of them?

The same reason you still have a stock steering wheel!

I'very got some goodies also to install if I can just find time. Didn't get them from Mark but he helped point me in the right direction. Actually got boxes of stuff setting in corner. Hood/Fender vents (again thanks Mark), port/polished Intake/TB/CAI. Header/Exhaust waiting for new baffle to be installed, replacement halos, slingwing, splitters, belt guard, hub lock just to name a few.

Yes just need to find time. Between traveling with work and doing a master bath remodel right now the ball buster isn't cutting me any slack. We laid tile flooring, redone the walls created two walkin closets installing 2 sinks and a pet wash station, steam shower with led/tv/media center/microfridge. Lot done lot to do. But going to have to find time, planning to go to Pigeon Forge the weekend of 4/28 if anybody interested.

Sorry...
I bought my NRG wheel off of Ebay. Cycle Springs has good deals on wheels...

I bought mine off ebay (e brake handle) boot I bought from amazon. Due to stitch color ordered from UK and quite costly compared to some that I seen ordering off ebay I think they used a mustang(?) I used an opel gt as per gp customs advise. He is the one making the e brake kits for a small donation to his St Jude fund raiser.

Cost please? I'd really like to upgrade that e brake... And kind of on the subject... Your shifter?!? (and boot)... Do tell!
-
The e-brake and boot was free from @gpcustoms with a donation to St. Judes. The shifter I bought from Auto Zone.

Awesome! @gpcustoms... Give me the info if these are still available and I'll make another donation! Wife might get suspicious, but oh well...

I am building several sets for the Smokies event, so try and at least say hello or kick me in the ass when passing by and I will make every effort to hook you up. There is a few tricks to the install and I will try and save you some grief from what Stephen is suffering from when tucking them down into the tunnel.
Don't feel like I have someone looking over my shoulder here,...Ahhhhhhhh fresh forum smell -
Going to be installing my boot & handle this weekend Will need the tricks of the trade. And thanks for guiding me in the right direction.

Tricks of the install.
Take off the rubber floor as well when installing the new boot. Make sure to take the time to drape the new boot over the mechanism or it will bunch up. There is also a fold sewn into the back so it will unfold and drape the mechanism. Just use a small putty knife or thin screw driver to help get it draped over and un kinked inside the drive line tunnel before you put the rubber floor back over the boot and pop it back onto the console floor. After that it should hold its form forever. -
Very cool! Unfortunately, I won't be at SSITS...
Does anyone have a picture of the e brake without the stock rubber? Can any kit work once that rubber is off?
Just wondering... Still interested in @gpcustoms work though.
