Some of the pieces were already being picked up laying in the street yesterday. They must need something better than the double sided tape to hold them on.

Maybe drill small holes and use zip ties?

I know they are figuring out the best way to secure these yesterday. You know the folks at Welter will have the answer ASAP

In their defense even the best and strongest quality trim tape needs time to bond before use and I am sure the weather at MV isn't helping .....
They might be using the right material but maybe shouldn't be doing on site installations .... the good stuff will pull off paint before letting go when properly applied and let to set overnight before being stressed ....

Also even the best adhesive is nothing if attached to a "poorly cleaned" surface.....found it out the hard way when i (incorrectly) installed @SlingLow rear protection plate and it came off.
I can't imagine that there is enough time to properly clean the mounting surface on the road @MV
Yeah my sling was filthy in Maggie. Got mud all over it.

That is why I clean about 3 times with at least 2 different products before using the primer when using the 2 sided tape

Oh, did you finally take it off the dolly?
