Has any one seen this yet? Had trouble inserting extension. Now what for Polaris and the rest of us?
VVT LE5 & LE9 last of production

For those of us who already have our Slingshots I dont see any impact it this - the parts supply chain should continue for long time and the used/refurbished parts availability should be almost endless with as many of these as have been made
As to the future it will be fun to see what Polaris chooses as the replacement

Wow.... this again .....
When they stopped the LE5/9 production in the US (as noted in this old article) it was moved to GM's engine plant in Mexico which went through a huge expansion over the last decade and is where the engine in the Slingshot comes from, look at the side of your engine block, the country of origin is clearly cast in.
To this day it is still in full production, used in multiple brands, across many platforms, in countries with less stringent emissions requirements .......

And I know for a FACT that you are the only one on this site who has posted some info that wasn't quite right...... It is great to know that many of our friends do check the 'facts' better than I do and get us moving in a better direction.
