totally agree, My weight was centered over the wheels so it was balanced perfect for the road. If I drove it in too much weight would be forward. I saw some place that you should take the total weight of the trailer, including your load, and balance the load for the correct tough weight. I might be wrong,.. I usually am

The CG for the sling is at the forward edge of the windshield. Place the CG roughly 6 inches foward of your front axle and you will be ok.

I cant get it that far forward in my trailer because of the tool boxes in front of the wheel wells and the cabinets across the front but my truck is big enough that it shouldn't be a problem. The only problem I see for my set up is that the rear axle on the trailer will be loaded heavier than the front and those darn trailer tires don't hold up like they should to start with. I am running ST205/75R15 Load Range D 8ply. I need to find a heavier duty tire for sure. They just don't hold up to extended runs at Interstate speeds.
Of course the slightly in front of the axle only counts if nothing else is loaded in the trailer. Adjust accordingly.

on the trailer hauling, I use a tape measure and get trailer close to level slight heavy in frt

For tongue weight considerations I load mine backwards when towing behind the fifth wheel and forwards when towing behind the truck. The E track is the way to go for me due to two loading positions. Laid out the track so it works either way. Got just over 4k towing so far and have had no issues. My trailer has a flip down board for the ramp lip but I have no problems dragging because I can air up for loading then air down for riding. Without air I would just crank the nose of the trailer up. Used to have to put the rear tires of my tow vehicle on ramps to load the race car so that is kind of natural for me.slingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/72865/
There is a bit of an issue with backing in and being dead center on the rear tire over the E track but I think my laser pointer will cure that. Just mount the laser pointer dead center and aim at the mark on the back/front wall to get the tire dead centered.

Take a look at TILT A HITCH. I installed one on my truck and it makes loading and unloading a breeze. Do not have to worry about the front wing scrapping at all. These are great trailers and I would suggest that you add additional recessed lashing points in the floor. I use ratcheting tire straps to lash my Sling down.

That's a Supercharged Range Rover. A vehicle with a towing capacity of only #3500 would not be able to tow this type of trailer with a slingshot in it.

Unfortunately this trailer is a beast that is 3500 lbs alone... so 6K towing would be best in my uneducationed opinion.
I've been looking at a 7ft x 12ft flatbed trailer at Tractor Supply for $1800.00 I think it be a lot easier towing with my Acadia.

Need to go at least 7 x 14 flat bed with a 6 ft tail gate. Single axel will work.
I have a 7 x 14 duel axel with the 6 ft gate and still need to jack up the front of the trailer when hooked to the truck when loading and than scrape a little.
$4200 for my all aluminum trailer. 8.5' x 14' box, 3' V-nose, 1100lbs empty and about 3000lbs + or - with the sling. About 12 mpg from Vermont to Maggie Valley. Secure and dry anywhere I go.
