I thought I'd share a story I commented on on TDS about a guy that lost his gas cap because he left it sitting on the back of the SS when he left the pump. Sometimes Karma is a bitch, sometimes it is "instant justice" but some times it is good to reap what you sow.
"I hate to admit it but I did the same thing the last time we rode. When we went to pull out from the station there was an old guy trying to get across the road from the other side and there was a bit of traffic. I just stopped short and shut off the engine and motioned him on across. As he walked past of course he stopped to chat (folks do that a lot here in the South) and he noticed that I had left the cap sitting on the back. He reached back and put it back on for me and I thanked him. One time I am for sure glad that I was in no hurry and willing to wait a minute for someone else to have safe passage across the street."
