Got home about 4:00 pm... Great ride home from St Louis to La Porte, IN not a cloud in the sky. Took Georgia to for supper and just trying to catch up on a weeks worth of (business) phone calls and e-mails.
Thanks to all for making it a great week for me. Rides and friends...doesn't get any better. -
@Boomer a pleasure meeting you and your wife. Think it will take a week or so for my wallet to dry out. Have a safe trip home!
@ThomaSS it is definitely gonna take time to dry, my cover is dry now but my seats are definitely wet, tomorrow I will park SS in sun, here it won’t take that long.
Great meeting you an your wife as well , but wish that when we shook hands it didn’t have to be let the dog shaking. We were pretty wet for sure. It was still fun for our first baptism on pig trail. Hope you make it home ok, we got here 2 pm today. Stay safe and ride plentyJUST SAYIN

By the way Darrel I have it from a very good source that your next mod should be running boards for your truck.JUST SAYIN

Made it home in just over 12 hours. Sun came out 1/2 way across Kansas and roasted us nicely. Did 2,024 miles garage to garage so that certainly counts as a great excursion.

We are leaving around 6am please you all keep the fingers crossed that we don’t hit to much rain, we have light rain right know.

@EjFord I have to say in all honesty, thanks for the lesson on driving in the rain. I guess you could say thanks, I needed that. It did teach me one good lesson, scotch guard is not waterproof. My seats are soaked. Guess I’ll have to let this Laredo heat do it’s thing.
Glad you made home safe and good to hear Brenda was hungry when you got there. Ride safe good to see you again until next time.Just sayin

A big shout out to @dangerdarrell and @HeRSling for the ride and amazing home style Chicken dinner! The ride back was awesome and even more so when @SlingRider reached out to pet the curious deer at 60 MPH!
Loved it! -
@Slingrazor took us on a great Saturday ride and topped it off at .... Where else but Sonic!

Had to make a “Uranus Fudge Packer” stop on the way back home. @ThomaSS and his lovely bride treated everyone to lunch at a Dive Bar. It was delicious!
I’m curious. We ate at Lambert’s, home of the throwed rolls. Just as it says, they tossed you a roll. What’s with the indoor axe tossing? Please tell me they didn’t throw axes at you! Seriously, that sounds like a fun place.
