Wow, agree on that! Stay safe!
Looks Like 1991 all over again when the Abraham Lincoln CVN 72 evacuated thousands.

On the way to Vegas for the 2020 reveal, beautiful morning in the air
Dang. I knew you had a plane, but did know just how big it was. But why were you flying the plane from the copilot's seat?

Had to strap the jet engine somewhere to get our little plane that high.

Beautiful day in upstate South Carolina today. Looks like it my be the last one for awhile. Going to get back to winter tomorrow, per the weather forecast. Took my SS to the dealership today to have the recall done. Took about 45 minutes. On my way back home stopped by DDMWorks and visited with Dave for a little while . Dave had some interesting info on the new Slingshot launch he attended in Vegas. My turbo installed date as been confirmed. Dave will be installing my turbo on February 3 🤗. Can’t wait.

no, I did not take it, it was taken by a friend of our driver who was at a view point just down the road from our rental house when it first started.

that is pretty crazy, looks like something from a movie, glad you got out safe

That was actually before it got really crazy, the raining rocks and mud part when it took us the 5 hours to drive 17 miles - that was the frightening part, that and then spending the night with almost constant earthquakes happening and the sound of small rocks hitting the roof as I laid in bed wondering if we would make it through the night - - - that was the scary part
as to movies I have seen some scenes in some that come close, Dante's Peak comes to mind, but with the rain and ash like mud that was falling they would never be able to film it true to life, no camera would last more than a minute at most before was worthless
And YES!!!! very glad we managed to get out and home safely
Ready to finish up one of my signature dishes: Elk Balls. You'd be surprised how few Elk had to die to make this dinner possible.
