So, this has been going on for some time now but due to engine issues I am just now getting my sling back. Ok, so when I'm driving at highway speeds my steering wheels shakes..driving me nuts. I did notice today that when going at highway speeds around a slight curb, the shaking goes away and then returns when the road straightens. Any idea of what this could be? I have already had the tires rebalanced. I figure it is something in the suspension?? perhaps ball joints? oh, when the sling was on the lift I shook the wheels and there is zero play. ok, slingers..your thoughts? thanks!
Please help me diagnose this issue (steering wheel shake)

If wheels have been balanced, it most likely points to not having the correct hub centric rings on aftermarket wheels and/or needing an alignment.

ahhh..ok..how do I figure out which hub centric rings I need? here is the link for the wheels and tire combo i have..thanks Trav

Email them or measure the wheel bore. Its probably like 73.1mm... SS wheel hubs are 66.1mm, so you'll need whatever the wheel is to 66.1mm.
I think my setup needed 73.1mm to 66.1mm.

just emailed them..thanks brother.

If you still have the stock wheels and tires, you might want to put them back on to see if it goes away. That will confirm that the problem is with the aftermarket wheels

Improper wheel balance.....I’ve been beside vehicles doing 65 and the front wheel is actually jumping 6-8 inches of the ground like basket ball being dribbled.

I run a 17 x 10.5/28mm offset Mustang rear wheel from American Muscle and called them to find out the hub dimension the wheels needed. They told me I needed 70.3 mm rings. I had trouble finding 66.1 to 70.3 hub rings until I found JustForWheels.com. They listed 66.1 to 70.1 or 66.1 to 70.4, but they also offer some custom sizes and when I ordered 66.1 to 70.3, they quickly arrived and fit perfectly.
