Does anyone have a swing arm mud guard installed and is it worth the money? I’m considering it.

My first one was made of a $2 thin rubber doormat from Walmart. 2nd one from a thicker piece of rubber a friend had. Being 'homemade', I didn't spend anything, and I can certainly see all the gravel, etc. that catches there.
Have the Mud guard from http://www.Slingmods.com and also have a Asult fender from Slingmods. Both help to keep things clean and keeping the 'rooster tail' water off when running down the road.
I also have the mud/rock flap and the Assault fender. That is as soon as I repair the swing arm bracket for the fender again and put it back on. Right now it is not on my priority list of things to do.
Rubber
Available from eBay $20.00

Worth the upgrade. I have the matching mudflaps

I bought the Rivco Products rear fender which comes with a swing-arm mud flap.
$150 for both + shipping.
Or, you can easily make your own from some flexible plastic/rubber and just mount it behind the screws holding the center panel in place above the swing-arm.
Make one and save your money. It was one of the first things I did. The top and bottom are both out of sight so precision isn't an issue.
I bought this...there is enough to make mud flaps also...I used a piece to hide stuff behind the glove box too....

Nice find @Bigdog. I've got similar material on the floor of my camper - but in camo. I never thought about using that for the mud flap on the swingarm. Camo just wouldn't look good but black would, especially with the diamond plate above it on my rear panel. I just never thought about it. Easy fix - I hate the gravel and road debris that accumulates there.
I have a better picture
The mud flap looks great - but that rear panel looks like bigdogshit. You could use a flat black rear protection plate! Merry Christmas bro - couldn't help myself!
My back end is a dirt magnet....it always looks like s**t....
^^^ Your Slingshot too?!

Do you like Rocco fender?

I assume you're referring to this Rivco Products Slingshot Fender - Polaris Slingshot Rear Fender - RIVCO. I prefer Function over Form and place emphasis on getting the job done. The Rico fender keeps most debris that flies off the rear wheel from ending on the Slingshot's rear deck. Is it pretty? Not so much, but it pretty much does the job at a price that is significantly less than other Slingshot Fenders. I bought mine back in 2015 when fenders were in the $500-1000 range and swing-arm mudflaps were a minimum $30+, so getting both for $150 + shipping definitely met my budget. Hugger-style fenders definitely look better, but I can't see paying their prices. Small decals can be placed on the sides of the fender, but I've been thinking about modding the rear slanted panel for the license plate to better display stickers like my US Army decal, etc. In summary, the Rivco fender emphasizes protection over style at a very affordable price.
