Because somewhere, someone told them that our forum was made up of a bunch of fuddy-duddies with flip phones who don't believe in FB, and as much as I tried to convince them that we also have cool people and hot girls (and cookies!), they were disinclined to acquiesce to my requests to join.
@philip_mustang I was just thinking about this. What if you inserted the bolts from the back of the hoops, through the rack mounting bracket, then through the hoop, then through the rack's loose mounting bracket on the front of the hoop and tighten that down with a lock washer and nut, just like you would normally mount them but use a longer bolt that would then extend beyond the front of the hoop and through the windscreen with a 2nd nut that would fasten the windscreen in place on the front of the hoop? I could draw a diagram to clarify if I had mad computer skills to post it up.
@SSREAPER, this was my thought on mounting both the racks and the wind restrictor. You would likely need to drill a hole in each lower corner of the windscreen to align with one of the rack mounting bracket holes. I do not know if that is possible without cracking the WR.

I might not know what I am talking about, but you might need spacers to make everything to work. My 2 cents

@SlingLow would it be possible that you could send me just the loose back bracket piece so I can see if everything matches up or what would be needed to make it all work. If I can figure it out Id buy the racks from you and you would just have to send 3 back instead of four. If it wouldn't work then I could just send it back to you. How does that sound? Hell you could send an unfinished one it doesn't matter.
Im sure this is going to come up again and again so we might as well figure it out.
