I Heard that You can plug your battery Slow trickle/ Charger into your Cig. plug in Console that it was hot all the Time. Will it work Or should i just bite the bullett and Take off Cover to Battery and Run a pig trail for Charger/Battery maintainer.
Winter Maintaining Battery!!

I use the one above the cup holders it's always hot. No need to add a plug for the charger. Remote terminals are good to have instead of a charger plug.

Could probably take a similar picture trying to get out of my driveway. I live in the center of the Northern Indiana 'SNOW BELT' just South of Lake Michigan...

I've used the Plug between the seats with a issues the past 2 winters. Use a trickle chargers I got at Wally World. In fact I have 6 of them for all the toys and yard equipment.

@EricRedSL I have been using the center between the seats since 2015. I heard the one in the glovebox is not hot

In you case it would count us a big MOD

As others have said, the female power plug between the seats is always hot and you can plug a trickle charger directly into it to maintain the battery. I use an inexpensive harbor freight float charger (they go on sale every so often for $4.99 and occasionally as a free item with another purchase.

You'll need to cut off the alligator clips and connect a male power plug to those wires, something like this:
Power supply cord, 5'+, 18AWG/2conductor,ends=bare wire&Cigarette Lighter Plug | eBay
There's only two wires and they're color coded so hard to mess up and even at full price you'll only have about 15 bucks invested. -
The main reason several folks remove that placard is for when they get pulled over for not wearing their helmet(s) the LEO cannot just point to it! Ours is staying on for it is a good reminder that the SlingShot is not a car!

Will have to wait a week....went out for a short ride this afternoon and delivered a couple of bills for work completed and cover Sling for a weeks worth of rest, taking wife to Branson, MO for a week of vacation time....relax and see some shows(live entertainment).

But where will you put your flux capacitor?

Although the cig. port will do fine, I prefer to take the battery out so as to check the inside levels and also look for any corrosion. Don’t want any unseen problems to create down the road issues. MHO.
