You're in! The flat black panels were painted today.

Is it to late to get in on this? I will need two.
Looking through the post I couldn't tell if is possible to get raw unfinished flat metal, not Diamond Plate. I will be painting them to match the tubs on our slings which are the same color as the body. -

I will have to contact you when I get back from hunting to discuss this with you. Is your plastic panel painted now and you want a metal panel instead of the plastic one? I do have access to different materials so I will send you my phone# when I return and let's talk!

I really wanted to try the flat black with red pearl diamonds but it is too much work to create. All you can really do with the diamonds is polish off the paint down to the surface behind it which is aluminum. You can't paint the red under the black then polish down to that, and painting the diamonds individually would be....not fun!

Just make sure you ship mine before @Slingrazor

You always could use this for rear protection

The entire tub is not painted, just the sides. I think having your panel in the center of the back will improve the depth from the back. It will offset the black flat look.

Another rear protection

HaHaHa I did it again

Love this idea, been wanting something like this for a while! I'll wait until some of you receive your first batches and post up some pictures. I would prefer a smooth finish, but this looks good too. If you want to sell them online, I'd gladly list it on http://www.SlingLife.net ... and I'll only mark it up 3 gajillion percent. Kidding. But nice work on this.

I installed mine today. Painted with engine enamel due to the nearby Welter Duals. Thanks for the idea, Slinglow!!

And with your manlyhood Bill, you should be able to pick that lock.
Oh on a second thought it would probably be a little loose for you. -
