Took a short vid driving the auto slingshot with hand control for brake and throttle. The conversion is a paraplegic customer in NYC. Takes a few to get used to working the throttle with your left hand. At first muscle memory I kept going for the brake with my foot at the same time.
Automatic transmission conversion + hand control

Pretty cool stuff...I know you guys get paid but it's still really nice to take on a non standard, outside the box job for someone in need.

Nice double pump on the brakes so they work. Wouldn't want to that Polaris innovation away from its new owner. Hahaha

Must be Holley brakes (double pumper)

I bet it is pretty tricky at first.
I am sure the new owner will be pumped to have that machine!

The brake being on a lever definitely takes more effort to stop. Gas can be tricky if you're wanting to take off quicker from a stop, I tend to over accelerate and spin the wheel a bit. -

My left leg is extremely weak and I’m unable to engage my clutch. Is there anyone in Louisiana or even Texas area that’s able to convert just my clutch to be hand accessible?

It will probably be cheaper to trade for a newer Slingshot that is an automatic than have the one you have converted to an automatic.

I think Cycle Springs in Florida, DDMWorks in South Carolina (us) and Performance Autowerks in Illinois are the only ones doing auto conversions. Like EjFord mentioned though, unless you have a lot of modifications on your Slingshot, it might be worth looking at upgrading to the 2020+ with autodrive.

Ok. Thanks. The thing is I just purchased my 2020 1 week ago. I think I will give it a little more time and try to strengthen up my leg in the meantime.

In an ideal world, I'd think a hydraulic motorcycle clutch handle could be grafted onto the shift handle to give hand control to the clutch. Works on two-wheelers, so I don't see why someone couldn't rig it for the Slingshot. The biggest hurdle I'd anticipate would be the amount of movement and force needed for operating an automobile clutch compared to a more compact motorcycle clutch. unfortunately, I lack the requisite metal-working skills to do it myself.
