I have my cowboy hat.
I picked it up in Colorado to go to my wife's best friend's wedding and I don't really wear it much.
You kinda reminded me of one of my heroes (although he let me down coming out for Bloomberg)

After looking at that I suddenly felt the urge to go have a shot of Geritol - thanks for that

WOLF I can sure tell the age difference just by your play list. I do not do country at all, the old or the new, that is why they have a ON/OFF switch. My sons are your age and one of them even does country but mostly they listed to the same stuff that I do. In this area it is called Beach Music, everywhere else it is R&B

WOLF what no Justina Bieber? What gives there? I figured he would be tops on your list
No Sir, and not even the supposed be country star that was swinging by the ropes in his shows

I never even heard of 3/4's of that play list. I wonder how many will be still playing 30 to 40 years from now?

The only one I recognize is Dierks Bentley. The rest is to modern for me. I'm an old fart. I have 135,000 old country Karaoke songs. None past 2010. Anything past 2010 I don't consider Country.

A lot of them have been playing since the early 90's.

Sadly, I liked some Justin Beiber songs before I knew it was him and have those on my phone as well.

Is it a Stetson?

canegrinder, I have 4 or 5 western hats myself and the boots to go with them. I do not have a Stetson. I wear boots just about every day, I have around 10 pair from the work square toe to the dress pointy toe. They are more comfortable that Nike's and such and last a lot longer, OH! and look a lot better also. If you have seen me anywhere with the Slingshot you have seen my driving boots that are a pair of old Tony Lama's that are around 30 years old. The most comfortable shoe/boot I have ever worn. I will not be a happy camper when they can no longer be repaired.

You nailed my age then.
I wanted Cowboy boots very much, several times in my life. They are really comfortable. For me though, that comfort leaves when I start walking. That top bumping the shin on every step, regardless of how short or tall the boot, was a deal breaker for me. I have a few friends that swear by them. I can see why they feel like you do. I even tried a few pairs on last year, hoping for a really comfortable work boot.

Never heard of that brand. Of course I only look for Stetsons when I shop for hats which is very seldom because I have 5 and I can only wear one at a time, LOL

You have to wear them long enough to break in. I reckon that is why so many people like Nike's and such. Nothing there to break in, by the time you would think they were broke in they are worn out.

Here you go Matt just for you! No more of the top rubbing your shin just your sack
