VA gun rights rally ...Described by even the MSM as "peaceful" .... thousands in attendance, nobody hurt, one non violent arrest (counter protester wouldn't remove her mask), no property damage, and they cleaned up their trash ......
Portland "Anti Fascist" rally in protest of a rumored event that Police said had been cancelled, ANTIFA showed up yesterday anyway and attacked reporters and photographers ......
According to police, some people used metal-tipped umbrellas to "jab toward people and chase them down the street." Other objects, such as rocks, concrete, batons, cans and food were thrown at members of the public and officers.
At least two incendiary devices, believed to be flares, were thrown into nearby traffic, police said. The event spanned nearly four hours and required a "large police response" that limited the department's ability to respond to calls for service citywide.
A war memorial in Lownsdale Square Park was marred with spray-painted graffiti.
Messages reading "Punch Cops," "Kill Cops," and "All Cops are Bastards" could be seen on the memorial in photos released by police.
Portland Fire and Rescue medics had to treat three people for exposure to pepper spray wielded by civilians.
Please let me know if the same people are denouncing the Portland event that where hyperventilating before the VA rally ....

As to the Rubio quote, it appears it was pulled from his official statement. I seen it quoted in multiple Tweets, but upon further research it appears it was quoted from his official statement and not a tweet.
Some Republicans that have stated they didn't need more evidence because The House proved it's case were Lamar Alexander and Rob Portman. The Senator that said he "needed no more proof, but would rather have Trump rather than Warren", I am having trouble tracking down. I seen it live on the news, unfortunately I watch many stations so it could have been on FOX, CNN, MSNBC, Newsy or NewsMax, if I find it I will tell you but tracking a 30 sec video down is hard.
The Lawyer was Dershowitz. Admittedly, he didn't vote for Trump originally, but he did defend him and pretty much said he couldn't vote for him on FOX.

I do not hold others to that standard. I proof check their statements myself and spend most of my time in this thread stating how their info is incorrect. I rarely ask anyone to prove their statements. Their statements are "true" until proven false.
No facts I stated were flat out wrong(except that Trumps lawyer voted for him), made up, misquoted nor portions of answers to HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION without context ......
Republican senators very much said exactly everything I stated, in all situations, even Rubio's.
Trumps lawyer very much said he believed Trump was guilty (though not impeachable) and he would take that into account in the coming election.
Rubio's statement was very much quoted all over twitter, I simply missed that it wasn't a quote from a Rubio tweet. It was still an accurate quote from Rubio and not from a hypothetical, since he was very much explaining his reasons for acquittal in a real life, voting next week impeachment trial.

Several years back when my mother in law became a citizen, out side of the Sports Arena where the swearing ceremony was held there were booths set up to register the new citizens to vote, there were about 20 people that were doing their best to herd the people to the booth set up to register new Democrats on the other side of the walkway a bit further down was the booth that the Republicans had set up - - when my mother in law continued to walk past the Democrat booth to the Republican booth all of the "volunteers" who had been trying to get people to the Democrat booth began yelling at her and cursing and calling her a traitor
At the time I thought it spoke volumes about the people involved - the Republicans just worked their booth and were very respectful of all of the new citizens - the Democrats on the other hand made it very clear that if you didnt join them you were either stupid or you were scum

Please remember to post the conclusion to this horrible act. Like when they search his computer, was he found to be Antifa, the far left out to hurt Trump supporters or from the far right with a stupid plan to excite the base to spur more right wing voter registrations.

August 2010 - - She is no longer with us, but it still makes me so very proud when I think of this. She studied for months and even had to take the test twice, but she didnt care, she just really really wanted to be a Citizen and was going to do whatever it took to get there.
