I must admit that I am confused as to why it is suddenly considered a bad thing to do things with other countries on the condition of getting something in return - quid pro quo - as they say

isnt that something that every single administration has done since the beginning of time? Wasn't the entire Obama / Iran nuke deal a quid pro quo of "if you stop trying to acquire nuke's we will release your money and remove sanctions"

I know there are other issues the left is talking about in this entire impeachment process, but I keep hearing that if it was "quid pro quo" that makes it a crime and I just dont see how it can be a crime for one administration to ask favors of another government based on giving something in return when this has been done by every single administration I can remember

As a side note I must admit I also find if funny that the democrats are investigating their political opponent for the possible crime of wanting his political opponent investigated

I just had to laugh at those words (NO, not at you Mr. Neal). Over the weekend, the CLINTON NEWS NETWORK aka CNN had a reporter who was having a tough day keeping his mind functioning. He actually said ....... SQUID Pro CROW.... I guess his parents were the original ones that bought his way into journalism school

Oh yea - forgot to add that I think one of the reasons Mr Trump was elected in the first place was his promise to make other countries give us something in return for everything we do for them - quid pro quo - its what business men do and its what the voters wanted

Wanted to wish everyone on this thread a Happy Halloween! Most likely I won't get a chance to visit tonight. I have the task of handing out candy to millennials who are old enough to drive around the neighborhood to collect free stuff! Some in plain cloths using a plastic grocery sack from the supermarket.

I will be hording the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, & KitKat's. It's not steeling as I used my own money to purchase and thus I can redistribute the wealth as I please! No Quid Pro Quo, I'm not running for office. You would have to be out of your mind to run for office!

whoa, whoa, WHOA! Cool your jets. It would take them too long to get enough on Pence to get him at the same time or before the 2020 election.

Trump being in office seems to affect her age appearance as if she were President. She would probably die if she was actually President. Trump is aging better than any President I can remember. Then again, if you start near death those extra years don't show as much.

if they accuse Pence of being a co conspirator and then take down Trump they could get him at the same time - - - could be why Nancy is suddenly so supportive of something that just last March she said she would be against without bipartisan support because it would be too divisive and bad for the country

Reguardless of party affiliation the rules for issuing subpoenas doesn't sound equitable. Schiff will have the authority to deny any subpoena the minor members want.
