I would add that all states should hold the primaries on the same day - We shouldn't have a system where some candidates have been forced to drop out before some states have even voted
Also on Election day, the counting of the votes should not even be started until the last voting poll has closed. The way it is done now, is just wrong and there is no other way to put it.
And instill term limits, return being a congressman to being a duty rather than a full time job.
And the top three or four finalists from the non-partisan primaries be given a fixed amount to campaign, no other financing allowed, that way everybody has an opportunity to get into office rather then just the rich and elite.

and since tv and radio stations are federally licensed mandate that as a part of their licensing agreement free equal time must be given to each candidate - and thats it - no more time allowed.

And in this technical age there is no reason to send our congress persons back to Washington DC, allow them to stay and do their duty from "home" where their continuants have easy access.

Bill I have and will always vote for who I think is the best person for the country. Usually the one that comes across as the most genuine and willing to compromise. I claim no party and support no party. Neither party as a whole is better than the other. Individual candidates make the difference to me. I voted for the same Republican Governor in the previous two elections in Michigan, even though I'm in a union. This last election I voted for the Democrat Governor and AG and Republican Senator.
It does annoy me that the current republicans are passing legislation to strip some power from the Governor and AG positions, lessening the effect of my vote. I was also sad to see the better Senate choice(imo) lose.
i really believe most folks vote the same way you do - it seems we just always are not picking the best candidate - just against the one they think is worse. If 2020 rolls around and it’s Sanders vs Trump...... I sure as hell ain’t voting for a socialist so I’m still in Trump’s corner voting not necessarily for him but against Sanders. I hope it changes but we are so divided no party thinks they can get elected without demonizing the other. It has been that way far too long..as Trump would say SAD !!

One thing I noticed is the default setting when you remove your avatar displays the first two letters of your user name. Yea, like I really wanted to keep my new avatar displaying a huge "FU" above my user name. Maybe Rabtech can alter that for those of us having avatar identity issues
