  • this is exactly my point - unintelligent people often dont succeed in keeping or growing money the way Mr. Trump has

Actually I think your wrong. Even unintelligent people, if they want to succeed, will hire smart people to make money for them (none of them do it all by themselves).. Trump has declared bankruptcy on a few occasions...

In the Visa Check Card commercial, NYC and Trump Tower are once again on display, which makes us wonder how much input 45 had on the creative direction of his commercials. Standing on the roof of Trump Tower, the POTUS bellows out about the convenience of the Visa Check Card as his hair blows about in the wind.

Suddenly, he accidentally drops the card off the roof. The camera cuts to Trump rummaging through a large dumpster for the check card before learning that he could have recovered all of his money if the card was stolen or lost. For a known germaphobe, it seems strange that the president would voluntarily go dumpster diving even in a Donald Trump commercial.

  • In my younger days I worked three jobs. For five years it translated to a 55 to 71 hour work week. I lived below my income and put the money into a retirement account. A few years back I researched locations and zoning regulations for a small business. Researched the preferred franchise. Put together the paperwork. 1.25 million! I did some hard thinking. I worked hard. I saved and I'm OK. That takes some real gonads to risk everything. I backed out.

My greatest respect to anyone who makes that choice. It's an incredible risk. I could not do it. Sad to think that in todays world taking that great risk is looked upon as if its an insignificant choice with no consequences.

Those hard choices are what makes America great!

You could have done it if your daddy would of given you 348 million dollars to do it. You could have done it if your daddy would of given millions of dollars to the college of your choice so you could go to yale or harvard and get a passing grade, These days the already wealthy are the ones who succeed even if they have to cheat to get it.

While not a small amount of help, who wouldn't if they had it help their kids, even the Washington Post says it was at most 14 million and that is over many years with some of it joint loan guarantees and purchased assets ....

  • I watched the Dem debate for 3 friggin hours. You can sum it up in 30 seconds. DRUM ROLL PLEASE — If you have been successful we are going to penalize you and make sure we redistribute wealth so that we can ALL be poor together - vote for me or you are evil. THE END... literally 😩😩

I might not be right but I can sure sound like it

  • I keep going back to those wonderful words that Obama used - If you like your PRESIDENT, you can KEEP your President. That has to be the best part of Obama Care. And a HUGE thanks goes out to Nancy Pelosi for making us vote it into law so we all could SEE WHAT IT SAID

    Nobody gets outta here ALIVE

  • Bill Martin, I really feel sorry for you to put up with Democrat Bull Shit for 3 hours. Sad!!!

  • Brilliant!!

    Drop the mic!

    on second thought...

They are millionaire socialists/communists (oxymoron) denigrating accomplished capitalist millionaires whom without their efforts their taxpayer accommodated millions would not have been possible.

We’ll get there when we get there and not a minute before. 😎

  • Something to think about:

Police on the US have about 1 Million guns, and kill about 1,000 people a year

That’s one kill for every 1,000 guns

Citizens have about 393 Million guns and kill about 20,000 a year

That’s one kill for ever 20,000 guns

And the Left wants to disarm who?

I am sorry but I dislike that statement .... it can be twisted to infer you want to disarm the Police, a leftist argument and common ploy...

The duties and responsibilities of Law Enforcement and the public are apples and oranges just as you should never put the same restraints and moral equivalencies on the Military as you do Law Enforcement or you end up with what we had during the Obama era. . It could be turned around and said that if Law Enforcement had more freedom to do its job one of those numbers might grow while the other shrink as less citizens would be forced to do what a restrained Police force no longer can. The opposite is also possible so to me the statement is in itself harmful.

  • While both those facts may be true it is impossible to infer that they can be compared. I would venture to guess that the armed forces have a higher kill ratio than even the police. The ratios are different because of the inherent risk of the job. the average gun owning citizen could generally go their entire life without being put into a situation where they are in a position to kill someone. Police would be at greater risk of being in a position to do that, but many policemen go their entire career without being involved in a shooting, much less actually killing someone. The mission of the military is significantly different than either of the other groups where the intent of today's operation is to kill specific people. All three groups have guns as a common factor, but how those groups use weapons is dramatically different. I personally cover two of those groups - I am an armed citizen and retired Army and there is no way that I would ever try to draw a comparison between those two different roles.

  • I have no desire to disarm anyone except for perhaps the criminals - I support police 102% and proudly show my support on my slingshot

the post was intended to show the stupidity of the call on the left to disarm me and you - the numbers show legally owned civilian guns are not the threat that the left would like you to think they are

    Hollywood ....

More do as I say not as I do BS .....

Scenes that take place in Mexico in the upcoming “Terminator: Dark Fate” movie were actually filmed in Spain due to concerns of cartel violence, director Tim Miller revealed.

In an interview with Mexican publication Excelsior, Miller said that the “Dark Fate” production team had to film the Mexico scenes in Spain, mainly due to fears of violence against the crew and budget issues.Miller cited the death of Carlos Muñoz Portal, a staff member of the Netflix series "Narcos" who was gunned down in Mexico, as a reason why “Dark Fate” filming was moved to Spain.
