This is the best political ad I have ever seen. I didn't read any of the article, just watch the video. It's beautiful.
It is beautiful...because America is beautiful... but the inference is VOTE in blue..... and as much as I like (I believe it was) Ray Charles.. that was a horrible rendition of America the Beautiful....

It was just a small list of things people consider before voting. Many of the things I listed, like immigration, have 20 separate issues to consider.
I understand your "economy" hang up. You are working from a zero compromise, one person is awesome and the other is a fiscal moron. That is a simple/lazy way to look at it. If you want to be even more lazy, just assume one party will always have the fiscal genius.
There will always be compromises that need to be weighed. Unless a person would rather not think about it. Vote straight ticket and move on.
I can tell you that it sucks when some moronic, uninformed, misinformed, generally stupid person says with absolute confidence, "I'm voting for X"! I stand there having the months of research into all these candidates flash inside my mind as I respond, "Yeah, me too".
It happens a lot and sucks. It has me wonder if I should just roll some dice or play some, "left, right, left, right" game.
there is a very clear choice and it has nothing to do with the candidates personalities.....and everything to do with the direction the country is going.
Go left into socialism or right into the America the founding fathers fought and died for to create the constitution......

The democrats are the party that is pushing us toward socialism/communism. To say republicans don’t Agree with the constitution is crazy. They are the only ones defending it.
Democrats want the constitution changed. They don’t like The first amendment, free speech unless you agree with them. They want the second amendment destroyed. if we lose our guns we can just look back at how good that worked for Hitler. Millions died because of that.
The entire country is boarding up all the businesses right now because they are expecting more riots and looting...When Trump wins again.....there is only one party that is doing it. It’s democrats. There is only one party that didn’t denounce the riots....democrats.....and they all stuck together down to the last man....because they fear Nancy and what she can do to their “career”....there may be some that don’t agree with her but they lack a set of nuts. so that makes them useless...weak and unworthy....they want to pack the courts because they can’t handle being defeated.....The want to change the constitution to suit there whims. They want to eliminate the electoral college ...because they can’t win.....they want to add states to pack the senate...because they can’t win....
they can’t win because their policies suck. Their candidates suck. There political correctness sucks. Their cancel culture sucks...maybe just maybe.....the real American people think they suck. And don’t want to be socialist or communists....maybe we love the constitution and the country just the way it is. And we aren’t letting them change it. If you hate this country so bad leave. You are outnumbered and outgunned...If you believe in the constitution, we have a legal right to defend the constitution and the country from threats....foreign and domestic....and democrats pushing to end America....GTFO...there are other Failed countries that have everything you want...already.... -

if I have to choose from the other parties I have to start with the economy - - if the economy is not good all of the other issues become moot - - nothing good can be done regarding other issues if the economy sucks and in my view only a fool would knowingly vote for a candidate they knew was not the best on the economy thinking the other issues made up for the deficiency - it doesnt and never will
to quote Bill Clinton - "It's the economy stupid"
Heck I would even go so far as to say that a bad economy is often a tool the left uses to take advantage of the people on other issues, issues they would otherwise stand against if they were on the better financial footing provided by a good economy

Trump - pro school choice - - Biden against
Trump pro Charter Schools - Biden against
Trump pro gun rights - Biden against
Trump anti endless war - Biden very pro war - - - well Trump has gotten more done for peace in the middle east than any president before him - - Biden on the other hand voted for every single endless conflict where he had a vote - - not once did he vote against
and immigration - please clarify what you mean - - these days the Dems call illegal immigration "immigration" - - with a family with a large number of legal immigrants who did it the right way and became naturalized citizens I can tell you people who come here illegally are not "immigrants" they are theifs who take something for free that they did not earn - -

Absoulty, jobs and a good economy must happen first. If the economy is good and jobs are created it opens up all other avenues for good things to happen. If not, nothing good will follow.

At this point I am just happy that God saw fit to give us 4 years of Trump and that in that 4 years God saw fit to open up the door for Trump to appoint 3 Supreme court Justices and countless Justices to the courts below the Supreme Court
4 years ago most of us thought it was a "dream" that Trump would even win - - but despite the polls and despite everything else he did win - - that win is in the bank - and we got the dream and not only did we get it, but all of the very most important things that I wanted him to do - He got them done
Like most here I would love to see it go on for another 4 years, but in reality if it comes to an end we still had the big win and the chips fell in the right places and no matter what happens today I do not believe they will ever be able to undo or take away what has been accomplished in the last 4 years
We already won!
As a side note now that Trump has placed true constitutionalists on the bench I don't expect it will be very long before the 8 years of Obama and what he did are erased and the stain that he left is finally gone - - - Death to the ACA!!!

Yep, just in case anyone is concerned my wife and I will not leave the country if the candidates we prefer do not win this election. We will continue to be proud Americans and we will support and pray for the success of our government and its leaders
Anyway - just didn't want any of my friends here to worry that we might run away and cry like liberal bitches if we don't get what we want

Very true. However your quote of Ed, is taken out of context. When he said that, it was suggested that one side/person is always great for the economy and the other will utterly destroy it. Which is never the case. Heck, Congress is more responsible for the economy than a President.

Actually I do believe if Biden wins that he and the Congress will utterly destroy the economy of this country
And I am 100% serious - - I think that Biden will allow / and and sign off on policies that will take this country down an economic rabbit hole that this country may never be able to come back from
Also saying it "is never the case" is BS just because it hasn't happened in the past does not mean it can never happen going forward - - this country has never tried the Socialist experiment in the past and it is very clear that there are those now in Congress that would love to lead Biden down that path
