If this isn't cause for using the Insurrection act if local officials don't correct this I don't know what is .. did you hear the Governor of Washington's interview yesterday. He claimed to have not even heard about it.

As a side note, did you see the rioters in Portsmouth VA destroying the 137 year old monument to the Confederate dead. Seems an "elected official" ordered the Police to stand down and not intervene. Hope the protester who had one of the statues fall on their head, or their family if they don't make it, sues the city and that "elected official" for everything they have.

One problem I see is that when someone stands up to this lawlessness, they will be labeled a racist or a White Supremest. And the story will change from doing the correct thing to adding to the problem.

As a side note I have listened to General Milley's comment this morning, from him, in their entirety, and agree with what he said. He, as an active duty commissioned officer, should have excused himself from being photographed in any situation that could have even been perceived as political. Even though to gain the rank of General requires a political appointment the Military should strive to be apolitical no matter who is the CIC. Of course his comments are already being cherry picked, taken out of context, and spun into political fodder...

maybe the liberals that voted in the Town officials might want to consider a do over recall of them....but I Might be giving them too much credit.

my advice to people living in the “twilight zone” hope you don’t need a cop or medical attention...during times like this only you can save yourself.....hope you bought enough ammo.

If the government totally runs the healthcare system....they decide who lives and dies.

if the secret service wanted him in the bunker....they must have thought the situation was going south in a hurry.....so what’s the big deal about keeping the president and his family safe? The democrats are trying to spin this as a sign of weakness....it was not......I consider it a sign of better to be safe than sorry....

to me the cops kneeling with protestors....was a sign of weakness. they are saying look we made them kneel before us...
a person on their knees is either begging for something serious like your life.....or praying....

Bill Martin, your question prompted me to make a call. I'm told by someone who was on the Hill yesterday that on that Friday evening they ran a drill with the First Family so should the WH grounds be breached everything was prepared and everyone knew what they needed to do. Not quite sure I would have used the word "inspection" but claiming he was locked down in the bunker is also incorrect.

yea - that probably wouldn't last around here either - - with the crazy safe space liberals in California I am hesitant to be too public about my conservative views - - sometimes when you hurt their little feelings they think its okay to be destructive and I have no desire to deal with that shit.

Hell - the way things are right now I would probably take the thin blue line american flag off of my slingshot and stick it in the glove box if I had to park my slingshot anyplace out of my sight for any length of time

Yes I reported it to the police just to get on record to see if this is a recurring thing at the moment. He said yes and they're keeping track of it. He said it's that time of year and especially in this environment. He said he had a report that something was stole off a car last week that was politically motivated. I said I don't put anything political on my vehicles because I don't like him to be all scratched up

A question for my forum family

Does an apology for an offence that happened a long time ago made today by someone who was not involved in committing that offence have any meaning?

There are people on my City counsel calling for the City and the Police to apologize for racial wrongdoings that were done in the 1950's and earlier and personally I must admit that I don't see the point. to me it seems like its done and over and in the past and that the city's time and energy would be better spent looking forward

am I wrong?
