I’ve decided to make the change!! I now identify as black and am moving to San Francisco and getting my $5,000,000. With that I am going to by as many houses as I can for $1 each. Ya can’t beat that deal - only in America

I just dont like the double standards, people should be allowed to be proud of what they are, not because they think they are better or anything like that, but just because its a good and healthy way for a person to look at themself - - yet here and now it seems as if just about any race or color or nationality is encouraged to take pride in what they are - - - - - except for one, if your a pastie white dude like me - - oh hell no! if I even hinted that I take pride in being the ugly white dude I am suddenly there would be those that would proclaim me a racist - - - no these days if your like me your supposed keep your mouth shut about any such thoughts.

I can tell ya - if they tried that in the south every white coonass and hillbilly would make you think the Confederacy was rising again!! Lot of those folks in the south may never make the $600K taxpayer tab in their whole life — what they do have money for is bullets. not the same thing - just because you make sex work no longer a crime does not mean you have to legalize human trafficking or pimping - in fact if you made it legal for the woman she wouldn't need the pimp and you could focus your law enforcement on the real criminals the sex trafficker
and you are wrong it has everything to do with government - every single law they make takes away from you liberties - yea, sure we give some of them willing, but it still needs to be kept at the absolute minimum if you truly want to be free

I’m on the fence about this one. On the one hand Nevada has had legalized prostitution for decades and it seems to work there. I have been to the Chicken Ranch (disclaimer…with my bride taking the tour) having a couple fine Kentucky bourbons in the bar. The place was as clean and run as well as any nice hotel you have been to. IF you were able to legalize it and work it like they do everywhere I wouldn’t be opposed. On the other hand the more we legalize drugs, prostitution, theft the more we slide down that slope into civil degradation. It is definitely an issue that will never stop - they don’t call it the worlds oldest profession for nothing!! So IMO Edward Neal and Shatneyman - you both are right!! DAMN - rereading my post I sound just like a freakin politician
Think about this - - did prohibition increase crime or did it decrease crime?
When the people want something and you make it illegal you dont magically stop people from wanting it - - what you actually do is you create a new black market of criminals who will provide it - - in the case of sex work this does not make the women safer - in fact it does the exact opposite, it turns them into a commodity that is owned and sold in back rooms out of the public eye where they end up being trafficked (just like booze was in prohibition)
Making things illegal does not simply make them go away - and often times it actually creates a new underground black market with even more problems than you already had.
