Yep I said months ago that I didn't believe in a red wave. Guess we on the left are the stupid ones. We keep losing so we don't understand where the majority of the country wants to go. This may be the last time I vote. It feels futile. Especially in blue maine. Edit, after some thought I guess I'll keep voting. That's the only hope we have.

So I’m going through my bank account yesterday and $500 has been credited to my account. Today I checked in and found out it is an inflation fighting tax refund for Californians. If I had Rugrats at the house I could’ve gotten over $1000.

Money showing up in your checking account the day of the election? Coincidence? Naaaaaaa

and you have to love the genius of pumping money into the local economy to fight inflation.

Yep, my daughter received her "California middle class tax refund" debit card in the mail 2 days ago - - it seems pretty clear that it nothing more than an attempt by our democrat leadership to keep the uneducated masses voting for them

As a side note SoCal I would like to express my regret that it looks as if the gerrymandering has succeeded in knocking Ken Calvert out of office.I was hoping that we might get to keep him

oh well - - at least my hope of getting rid of Nancy is still alive this morning

when it comes to Ken Calvert, I am surprised, but not really surprised. I have viewed him as a seat filler for a very long time and watched him hang out with Kamala Harris before she became vice president.

at the end of the day with one party rule in California does it really matter?

I know it won't be popular with many members here, but personally I believe that Donald Trumps presence hung over this election like a cloud in many of the pivotal senate races and other races and prevented what many thought might be a "red Wave" from materalizing

At this point I would love it if he would step aside and get out of the public eye as much as possible.

No matter how great of a job I think he did in his time in office I just feel that at this point in time he has become way to divisive to get the independent and moderate vote that will be needed to win a presidential election and like it or not if he runs it will cause enough division to drastically reduce the chances of other conservative candidates - Trump is an anchor holding back conservative momentum - and that's not good!

From what I am reading some people seem to think our election in 2024 has a high probability of looking like this

And if it does I sure as hell don't want Trump taking a single vote away from DeSantis - - do you?

One thing is for sure the markets don’t care who you are, what you are, how rich you are, how poor you are, what color you are, or what religion you are. The markets are brutal and react decisively and quickly.

As much as Donald Trump and many of his followers feel the sting of the previous election, patriots have to put their country first Over personalities and move forward. Perhaps this is that time.

For better for worse I do not believe Donald Trump is going away.

I didn't say child porn, I said showing gay porn to children, and posted the video which has excerpts from the book gender queer.

Parents have been protesting this book along with critical race theory, the department of education asked the Biden DOJ to investigate because they feel "threatened" hence this meme...
