None of the above if we are talking D's or R's - - the two party system in this country is corrupt, they literally own the debates and wont even let others play

Unfortunately with the freedoms that they advocate (that I totally support) they do seem to attract some candidates who are a bit on the fringe side
Having said this - for the political parties in this country I do believe the Libertarian Party is the only one that actually cares about the people
But as I pointed out above the two party system has things locked down so tight it is very difficult for anyone who has not sold out to the D's or R's to even be truly heard by the public
In the end like I said before I would rather vote my conscience and lose that vote for someone who has sold out and win

I will concede that being in California where no matter who I vote for it most likely won’t count I probably have more freedom to vote my conscience than those who live in states where conservatives actually have a chance 
I have come to the conclusion that if after the results are in from todays election Nancy Pelosi is no longer the speaker of the house I will consider this election to have been a success - - anything else is simply icing on the cake

Ed, I'm with you on just about everything. In a world of correctness, you win but sometimes reaching the end goal is a tricky game and the consequences of failing that end goal could last generations. I do thing your quest is noble. Just vary on how to best reach that goal.

people voting on their emotions instead of fact. Voting on issues that might not even be things the candidate could change. Think about it, for years now people have been told their feelings are more important than anything and now we have people voting based on that over other real issues

If anyone really believed the Red Wave media BS, that is on them... I always felt it was a ploy to make sure the Dems got out and voted.
Two things I noticed in this election:
1. Most, not all, of the Trump supported candidates did not fare well leading ME to believe that there is more discontent with Trump than people want to admit.
2. People always talk change, yet they vote for the same stuff every time. Change will never come in my lifetime because the "machine" is too embedded in people to allow change.
I am an Independent, and I vote that way. Some of the Blue people I do like and some I do not, same for the Red.. I do not just vote for a color/party, I try to take into account what that person supposedly stands for and vote accordingly. If they fool me by saying they believe in something and it turns out to be false, they do not get my vote again.
A red wave would have been nice but at least with a Rep House Biden’s agenda can be stalled….and of course the biggest perk of all….

Both parties have done all of that and more, to think otherwise boggles my mind. POWER AND MONEY IS THE REASON NEITHER LEADER HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY CHARGED. Even if the Republicans do squeak out control of the house and senate, looking at the disasters last two years with the Democrats in full control of all branches of government. The closeness of the election. The flood of indoctrinated young voters taught that America is unjust. Those voters are in the beginning stages of ability to vote (that number will increase dramatically and quickly). The intentional open and free flowing boarders along with the push for illegal immigrants voting rights at local election levels. Fetterman, what can I say?
Socialism is in control; it will wait for a few short years but it's in control.
