    what really sucks is that its always a one way thing


    When gas prices go up all of the stores raise the prices on their products because it cost more for them to be transported to get to the stores - - - - this makes total since and I think most people can understand that the stores need to cover their increased costs.


    The problem is that when the price of gas goes back down it is very rare for the stores to respond by lowering the prices of their goods back down - - - no with very few exceptions the prices stay exactly the same and the store just sees it as a way to increase their profits

    I believe you are right - if Trump runs again all we have seen up to now would have been smooth sailing. The public will man their battle stations - right and left for an epic battle not seen in the US since the Civil War - hopefully not violent. I still believe their is a silent, powerful voice that could stop Trump from running. Melania has indicated quietly that she has ZERO interest in becoming First Lady again.     I think if the country is going to ever get back to anything close to unity we need to eliminate the two party system and to start electing people solely based on what they as an individual represent


    The two party system is broken, It has gotten to the point where no one in either party gives a flying fuck about the people, They have made it painfully clear that their number one top priority is preserving their power and winning the game of party politics that they have created


    What it it they say, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity?


    I think that electing Democrats and Republicans over and over again is what has gotten us buried in this manure heap filled with hate that we are in - - and expecting it to ever improve by continuing to flip back and forth between the same self serving party loyalists that the two parties give us each election cycle is the true definition of insanity


    Seriously, think about it, as soon as someone gets into office with that big capital R or D by their name they instantly are disliked by 30 to 50% of the American public, and because of the division the parties have created that's the best their approval rating is probably ever going to get - - - -so how can we ever hope to get to a place where political infighting and division are minimized if we keep allowing the two parties that clearly desire division run the show???

    One simple solution, secession of the union. This is no longer democrats vs republicans this is Socialism vs America. Children being indoctrinated in schools, people losing their jobs because they simply dont want to get a vaccine, liberalism in social media and depravity infecting every inch of society oh and social media companies basically controlling your free speech as they wish. Secession is the only answer to this and I personally have no problems with it. The alternative if things remain the same regardless of whos in office the US will without a doubt be a socialist regime in 10 years time. It takes someone who went thru all this crap to recognize it and see it in the horizon. I only wished you guys that were born and (hopefully) love everything this country stands for would see it as well. This is way past simple Dem vs Republican, those days are over.

    Btw noone should have a problem with a civil war in the country if it is to defend what America stands for. A lot of you take for granted what you have here your whole lives perhaps because this is the only country system you know. I truly love this country and all the freedoms we have and I would glady die without thinking about it twice to defend it.

Red states and blue states is what we have and making each color a country won't work. You would have to drive through two states of a red country to get to another blue countries state. That could work if we could all just get along but we can't. If Florida became a Red Country in its self the liberals in the state wouldn't agree with the conservatives. Let's see Florida will send all the liberals to a Blue State in trade for their conservatives. I don't see this working. How about if we make it King Trump.

    I find it interesting that some think the answer to our problem of division is to separate in total division - - - if this were to actually happen and 2 separate red and blue governed countries were created would you then expect every conservative to live in the red part and every liberal to move/live in the blue part?


    And if not how would you keep the red parts and blue parts from repeating what is currently happening and once again becoming divided?


    Seriously not every person who wants to live in a blue state is a liberal and not everyone who wants to live in a red state is conservative - - - would you force all of the non conformists out of your red country after your civil war?


    The problem is that we have a country full of hard liners - some even here - who like some kind of Taliban think that they have some right to have everything 100% their way, no compromise, no working with people who disagree - - - in my view this is exactly the type of view point that is destroying this country - - - this entire country was built on the idea of freedom, of everyone being allowed to live and think as they wish - - and if you truly believe in freedom I would ask how you could ever support dividing this country based on political division? - - if you don't want people around you who dont agree with your politics then you do not truly want freedom - - - freedom by definition requires acceptance of that which you do not agree


    Freedom and the right to free speech were not made a part of this countries constitution to guarantee that everyone all tows one political line or that people only say what you want to hear - - in fact freedom and freedom of speech were made a part of this countries constitution for exactly the opposite - these things were ingrained in what this country stands for so that people can disagree and can stand up be against what you or I want or what is popular.


    This country was founded by people who wanted a different government than the one they had and they put these protections in our constitution so that all future Americans would have the right to stand up and ask for any different government they might want - - - and yes that includes a more socialist government if that's what they want



    I may not like it, in fact I honestly think the idea is just about the stupidest thing I could imagine, but that aside if people in this country want to move toward socialism our constitution and the freedom it guarantees gives them the right to talk about it, promote it, and to try to achieve it


    you can't bitch and moan that you have the right to promote what you think is right and call it freedom if you do not openly support the same right of every other person even if you think what they want it wrong


    Freedom - - its not about getting what you want, its about letting others try to get what they want - - - - even if you dont like it


    unfortunately the R and L hardliners dont really want freedom - - they just want to get their way and separation of this country so that you don't have to put up with people who are the opposite of you politically is not freedom.


    R's & D's dont want freedom - - - they want control and any person who follows a hard line L or R party line doesn't want freedom either


    Seriously - If you say you are willing to take up arms and to fight and die for what this country stands for then you should be willing to take up arms and die for the right of others to want a different government than the one you want - - - - that's what this country stands for - - - it does not and hopefully never will stand up for separation of people based on their political beliefs or any other beliefs - this is not the Middle East
