Does anybody know if there are differences between the 2015 and 2016 slingshot radiators? Can a 2016 radiator fit on a 2015?
Differences in radiators?

2015 and 2016 radiators are the same. The change happened in the 2016.5 and newer radiators. The newer 2016.5 radiators do not have the steam line coming off of them. They will still bolt up into place on a 2015, but the steam line from the radiator that "T"'s into the steam line on the front of the engine will not be there.

I have a 17 now. Is there a need for the steam line???

Nope, the steam line coming off of the radiator was a little redundant in the original setup on the 2015-2016 models. They took it off in the 2016.5 models and since the upper radiator hose will still allow any air to go up to the steam line coming off of the cylinder head, the one on the radiator is no longer needed.

Dave@DDMWorks, I have a 15. Any way I can get rid of my line going from the tank to the radiator? My new DDM tank and reroute line just came in. I like Slingrazor set up but not sure what I need to plug lines,.. if I can. This is what I want....
This is what I have and want to get rid of the 2 lines,... sorry for the dust, still haven't cleaned anything yet...

Easy fix.
Once you install the reroute hose that connects from the overflow tank to the steam fitting on the top left forward corner of the head, you can do the following to clean up the hose routing.
- The hose that is connected to the top passenger side of the radiator can be capped off. This fitting was removed on the 2016.5 slings and after. I cut off the existing hose right below where it bends, inserted a bolt that is tight in the hose, put sealant around the bolt, installed and placed a hose clamp around it.
- The hose that goes from the overflow to under the air filter can be re-positioned so it drops directly down from the overflow tank along the firewall and secured to the bottom part of the frame.

Thanks boss, Might blow my sling up, but what the heck, they make new parts everyday! I might need pictures or paint by numbers!

Slingrazor , I'm now waiting for the paint by numbers!Thank you

There is nothing to do with paint that you can't accomplish. Would have been real fun if you could have made it down to Jim's when we painted Spirit.

I really wanted to. Even my wife said, do it, you need this, but the timing wasn't there. Hoping to make a couple events this year. New year and a fresh start
