Go to Slingmods and search for NRG quick release. They have 3 ranging from $99 to $109.
-
You will also need an adapter for the quick release to bolt to.
-
For starters, you will need this. It is the shortest, which you most likely will prefer. I personally think it looks best also.
Polaris Slingshot Aftermarket Steering Wheel Short Hub Adapter by NRG
I had a quick release, I did not personally like how close it put the steering wheel to me. I kept the above adaptor because it allows me to run any after market steering wheel I want.
For Quick disconnects, there are these.
NRG Gen 2.1 Pyramid Series Quick Release for the Polaris Slingshot
Polaris Slingshot Quick Release Version 2.5 by NRG / Removable Steering Wheel
This is the one I had.
NRG Gen 3.0 Quick Release for the Polaris Slingshot -
I went with this Adapter:
Amazon.com: Forever Sharp Polaris Slingshot Short Hub Adapter: Automotive
And then I went with this Quick release:
Polaris Slingshot Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub - Slingshot Only
I am still on the look out for a good steering wheel.

I don't have one, but you will need a hub adapter. Here's a video of the install for one brand:
There are shorter hub adapters than the one in the video. -
You will want to use the short hub adapter with the quick release. Even with the adapter the wheel will be about 2 to 3 inches closer to you.
-
the one thing that keeps me from considering a quick release is not wanting my steering wheel any closer than stock. if there were a hub adapter and release that kept it where it is I would love it
-
Kev, I just sent you a private email.
-
after having put mine on, the few inches that have made the steering wheel closer is a little more comfortable while driving than what the stock steering wheel is. I am 6'2 and have a long reach, but this is more comfortable while driving. the only thing I don't like about it is when trying to get out of the slingshot while the steering wheel is still on. but if you remove the steering wheel before exiting, then you have a ton of room, wont bang your legs and its like getting out of the back seat of a car. so I really love my quick release. and I have the short hub adapter also.

Are quick releases street legal? I thought they were restricted to race tracks? I would like to get one but after reading our Motor Vehicle Regulations in Canada at least i'm not sure I can use this on the street.

Nor catless exhausts, 5 point harnesses, too many lights, too loud of a horn...SHHHHHHHH.
Keep it a secret. The fuzz doesn't tend to bother looking for some of those. Shatneyman ?
