- TheWickedReaperSo I'm just curious as far as rain, what does the percentage have to be for everybody to ride or does it matter?
0%! Have been caught in a light drizzle once by surprise that’s it! ANY chance of rain and i’m A homebody!

I didn’t think it rained at all in sunny Southern California.
So I'm just curious as far as rain, what does the percentage have to be for everybody to ride or does it matter? I started out last year when I got the slingshot with only 0% percentage days and that went out the window quick. Now I see myself increasing that each morning I check the forecast. I think I'm about at a less than 50% chance frame of mind now.
I gave away my car when I got the slingshot and I have driven it to work every day for over 11 months now. percentage here really doesnt mean as much as it does other places - we have had days when it said it was a 60% chance and it didnt rain, often when it does most of it falls in areas at the base of the mountains that surround the valley. I have been lucky so far in that I havent been caught in really hard rain, but just last Thursday it rained on me all the way to work - a good coat and the full helmet has been enough so far, but i do carry a rain suit behind the drivers seat
There was rain in the area when I rode to work this morning. It rained on me a wee bit. But, the forecast was for it to clear off and be sunny and in the 70s so I decided to ride. I reduced my speed to 45 on the 35 mph twisties because y'all have me terrified of wet roads.
On my way in to work tonight, I drove past a county plow that was winging back the snowbanks, getting ready for what's coming next. Snowbanks were about 7 feet high. So far, this is the 3rd snowiest March on record, with no end in sight. Temps are supposed to be in the 20s this weekend. Global warming my ass.
It’s been cold and rainy here in central Illinois

Is that where you ride around with your ass hanging out the window, third eyeing everyone?
We used to call that.... mooning.
Global warming my ass.
^^^^ I don't think terrified is the word to use with Slingshot and rain...
More like very scary aware...
Never mind! You're right! Just saw it was @HeRSling...
@airoutlaw. You are right. Scary aware is a more accurate term and that is why I was only 10 mph over the limit. But, you are saying it was okay to be terrified because I’m a women? Or a grandma? Or soon to be great grandmother?

That gender thing...
A man is never right and a woman is never wrong.
A man can be on the right, but a woman can never be left.
Lol.

Anybody else see a "screw you" coming from the boys up north...
Or at least a, "bet the ice fishing sucks where you are."
66 big puffy clouds - great day

Oh, I'm not in Murphy. Just wondering how close you were and if you want to join us for the annual Murphy ride.
