After receiving a call from a customer asking about the benefits of the F4 windshield and suggesting I put something on the forum about it I decided to write this quick comment.
The benefits of a F4 Customs windshield.
The F4 is made form High Optics Polycarbonate. There is no distortion and the base material is what the OEM's use due to its impact strength
The proprietary baked in coating that is applied makes the shield Highly Scratch Resistant even when rubbed with steel wool.
Cleans with paper towels and any glass cleaner you want to use. The shield is chemically sealed
The shield will shed rain due to the coating that is baked in and this does not change over time.
It is offered in 3 sizes:
Stock with a re-curve which pushes the air up about 3" higher than the OEM shield.
Plus 3 which is 3" taller than the stock
Plus 5 which is 5" taller and is preferred by the rider who wants the best wind protection and protection from the rain.
All of our shields are offered in either Clear or Tint
4 Year warranty against cracking, crazing, or de-lamination.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Hope this helps and thanks

And I'll gladly attest that the F4 is exactly as what he says it is. We're loving ours!

And I like my F4+5 first design with the heavy curved sides..
When a rock hit it in Maggie Valley Rally it put a small pin head mark in it but no other damage.
Was a hard hit.
Of course it was straight in my line of looking through windshield and I ordered new replacement for it that had less curve
and when I come home with marked windshield decided to sell new one and will order one with heavy curve at later date.
It pisses you off at moment then you realize you can put up with it few more years..LOL
I am designing new body panels and going to design a roof and then will think about changing , just in case I make a mistake. LOL
Will tell you fiberglass resin spots on windshield just pop off . Never thought that would happen ,but making windshield frame I
did not see resin going off tape and opps.. But hoped right off. -
F4 windshields are stronger than factory... mines has a nice tint. Overall a good product... what's next for F4 and it's integration with Slingshots? ....Sky is the limit!

Hoping to get the F4 +5 with the side wing vents, (or whatever they are called). Thinking this will be this year's purchase. That and shocks, lol....maybe seats too, lol

I got a F4+7 and it works great for cold weather, I have also the F4 +3 for warm weather. GREAT PRODUCT.

After over five years with the stock one I went to the +3 tinted and love the quality difference. Will miss my Baker air wings for summer but a couple of runs in cold weather have been fine so far.

Thanks for the comment ride safe

Thanks for the comments
We love our F4+5. It has stood up to all our rides with rocks bugs and crap hitting the windshield.
I will be ordering a new F4+5 for our 2020R as soon as you come out with one.
Also, we are going to be at Daytona Bike Week this year. Will you be out at the speedway this year?

We think that the 2020 is the same windshield mounting so if you have a 2020 and want to put our windshield on we will send you one and if it doesn’t fit will refund your money thanks

I have the F4 tinted 5+ shield and (since April 2015) have the Baker 'Air Wings' good combination.

Been using F4's on motorcycles for years. Have the +9 on my Sling. Good product, good price.
