I installed mine and after some adjustments to the hood latches it sits just as it did before

@Ice9812 now what type of adjustments you talking about not any thing to time consuming i hope
Not at all. The front latches on the frame needed to be moved. They have 2 bolts a piece, after speaking with cycle springs I loosened the 2 bolts on each side so the latches can slide. I left the socket on the one bolt and closed the hood so I could reach under and tighten the bolt and then opened the hood to tighten the other bolt. Then I did the same thing on the other side. There might be an easier/different way but it worked. They only other thing I would mention is when closing the hood you have to now push the hood down. There also a chance you won't have to adjust your latches maybe they will be lined right up.

Very nice! It opens easy too correct? I might have to purchase these.

Yes it still needs a little pull when you first unlatch it but then the hydraulic arm lifts the hood up

One mod I really want to do one day..

If I could ever get a little breathing room and a chance to slow down, I'll go ahead and install the ones I bought back in early November!!! Did I mention that I have perfected the art of procrastination!?!?!?

The best time to adjust your front latches is just before you install the hood. Just rotate the hinge back and align the latches. Then put on the hood.

Mines are half installed... doing small mods here and there. Soon it should be completed with other items

I tried that first but for some reason it didn't line up when I put the hood on the hinges. I had to keep them loose and close the hood and then tighten them back up.

I had gotten one of the first sets offered and it did raise the hood line on the left side but that was before they changed out to a different size rod (longer). Once the new rod was installed it aligned perfectly without any additional hood adjustments. It really is a worthwhile mod, there is much easier access, the engine shows much better at car shows and the whole SS simply looks better fully opened.
