Brake Bleeding

  • Need to bleed my spongy brakes, I have always done the old fashion buddy system way that's a PIA. Question is the mighty vac style worth the investment or any other suggestions. Second question, has anyone done the Noel procedure of activating the Anti-Locks 5-6 times then extending Pistons out and then bleeding ?

  • YES DID NOEL'S PROCEDURE AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE. THE PEDAL IS LIKE A ROCK. YOU WILL LIKE THIS. I SENT MY WIFE DEE OUT TO A GRAVEL LOT TO SKID THE SLING TO GET THE ABS TO TRIGGER. WHEN SHE CAME BACK WE BLED ALL THE BRAKES. GOT A LOT OF AIR OUT OF THE FRONT BRAKES AND BIG CHANGE IN THE PEDAL.

  • Is there a particular order that the brakes need to be bled? I really need to get around to do it, but haven't found specific answers on it yet.

  • Rear first, right front second, then the left front. But there also is one more below the master cylinder on the abs module. Don't forget to do that one as well
