Of course, its going to be cold & rainy for the next several days, so I don't get to test 'em out!

I assume so, I ordered them for Christmas.
Is there a difference between them?
I can take a close up photo later today if you want.
Did take a ride to work "33 F" where we made space for the SS, so I can start more mods in a warm area.
I've had the Baker Air Wings on my ripper for about two years now. Wife and I both love em.

I really like mine, especially in the Florida summer
I might have to consider these. I purchased a slingshade late in the season last year. I noticed far less airflow through the cabin. Might get a little toasty this summer

They make a big difference, you can direct the air right at your chest. They also help get cooler air off you in the Spring and Fall. I sold mine when I got the Madstad windshield.
I got my wings, Baker Air Wings that is. Just put them on but temps in mid 30's. Looks like better weather in a few days. Can't wait to try them out!
I’m confused....buy a tall windshield to keep the wind off you, then buy wings to get the wind on you....

Weather changes - I run OEM double bubbles to get maximum air flow when its in the 100's but if I were not so lazy I would probably reinstall the full windshield this time of year
I run the stock windshield and I'm more than happy after 67,000 miles. You know the saying if they build that someone will buy it.

Actually I bought a tall windshield after driving on the interstate and getting clocked by a large Beatle in the center of my forehead. Thoughts turned to what if it was debris kicked up by a vehicle in front. Secondary, at my height the top of the stock windscreen was directly in the center of view. Very annoying! I don't mind at all looking through or above but not having the top in center view.
I do like the wind but not when its cold. I hear the wings will allow or block the wind (and some rain) depending on positioning. I figure the top with the wings will be good for tour mode to places like Maggie Valley. I may purchase the sportster lens for the NASCAR windscreen for local summer driving.
...but yes if I were to only ride local non interstate driving I would remove the top and go with a shorter windscreen that I can see above.
"Beatle" -- John? Ringo? Paul? Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Why are you confused? YOU bought a Slingshot to ride, then don't ride it so it doesn't break on you

Stock ripper windscreen + Air Wings = happy copilot who often complained about being too hot or too cold.
That's the theory anyway. If the dang weather warms up a bit, I'll be able to test it!
VW?
That's "Beetle"...
I saw these same comments on various 2 wheel forums. Some folks feel you should never add a windshield to a bike that didn't come with one. Others hate tall windshields. I always preferred as large a windshield as I could find just so I could hide behind it when caught in storms and needed to get to cover.
Once you buy a vehicle, what you do to it is your business. It's yours, do what you want and just ignore all the naysayers.

I have rode since 1964 and have never even rode behind a wind shield on a two wheeler.

Agreed, I like the open feeling. Nothing like it. On major highways its a bit different when the wind pulls the helmet/head back. Slower roads open is the way to go.
