When I pulled my side panel I removed it all the way back to the rear and found out that was not necessary when I put it back together. You can take it apart by the passenger seat and then going forward remove it leave the back side alone. Those Fasteners suck

Pull the 3 T40s along the front edge in front of the control arm. Pull the push pin that's facing away from you kind of low on the engine side of the firewall (kind of hard to see). Pull the speaker box to access the screws on the floor pan. I remove the pushpin right next to the passenger seat and the 3 T40s that hold the lower panel to the upper panel so the upper panel remains in place. Pull the T40s down the side of the floor pan - I think there are 4 screws and one pop in fastener (not a push pin). To access the rear one (or two), pull the T40 on top by the mirror mount so you can start to pull the front of the fender away from the frame as you work back. It doesn't really take that long. Enjoy your day FunCycle
Edit: I know FunCycle is done but for anyone else, I forgot one T25 screw that goes through the underside of the wing into the frame.

When I first took off my side panels I snapped the plastic on the rear screw and I had to jerry-rig a fitting. Since then I found if you put a little grease on the screw before reattaching they go into the fittings much easier

I am done, that was the last hard job I had to do. I also installed the brake light blinker.

You probably should have changed out your blinker fluid when you were in there...

i finished the installation of the second battery and took it out for a shake down run. Happy to report all is good. Came home and ran some lights for two hours checking voltage occasionally. After turning off lights and waiting about an hour for battery recovery it checked at 11.8 with main battery still at 12.7 so I'm happy with the update.
On a side note I also kept my streak alive, had the sling out at least once a month since new .

I'll challenge you to do that in central Ohio

Does the second battery decrease your performance at all with all that extra weight? Maybe it's time for me to put a second battery in my other cars .

Cipher seats getting bolted in tomorrow. Brackets and sliders installed on them tonite and relatively easy despite some of the reviews.

I'm still running the motorcycle battery so not that heavy. Temps in low 30s during ride so not enough traction to test handling much but couldn't feel any difference

Summer Breeze and I installed the UP Top on Sling II yesterday and the only thing left to do is the valve cover and the coil pak cover to move from Sling I. Test ride this week, it is going to be in the 70's for four or five days this week.

One of my favorite mods! My recommendation is to try the factory override code that allows you to start the vehicle if you lose the fob. It's a two digit number that is probably set by the factory as 2-4, and should be changed for your security. You can avoid being stranded if you know how to activate the ignition with the code.

I thought the box was empty, it was not and still had the E-3 spark plugs in it. Now they are installed on Sling II
