Kenny, I know we've talked, but glad to hear you made it through as well as you did. Odd that the short distance from my place to yours (and then to Charlie's) saw such different results at least with the lost power issue.

Her power just came back on today around 4pm.
There are parts of Edgewater that are still without power. Lots of gas stations in the area are either closed or still out of fuel. -

Just got power back finally. Still no usable water though.
Wife's business lost the roof.
Insurance says it might be another week before an adjustor can get by to look at the Jeep. In no hurry though. Other people have worse things they are dealing with and I have other vehicles to drive.
Going to be a while before we get back to normal.
Taking a break from reality tomorrow night though. Have tickets to see Henry Rollins.
It'll be nice to have a distraction for a while. -

I just thought of a better reason to NOT move Florida there.
#1. It's too damn close to California and Washington nanny states.
#2. It's too damn close to Obama's home and the crime capital of the WORLD, Chicago.
#3. Who the hell wants to be in the middle between the States listed above, sounds too much like a 3 way with Nancy Pelosi and Hillary, and who would want to be between those two?
