Can anybody tell me where the center of balance is along the wheelbase for a 2016 base SS without anybody in it? Assuming no weight other than the SS itself. Just trying to figure where to best position it on my trailer.

I load mine nose first with the front wheels forward of the axels
Some back it in - but I prefer the weight forward. -
Weight forward to achieve a couple hundred pounds of tongue weight is best for sure.

Two thirds of the weight on front axles, one third weight on rear. Roughly 600 pounds per wheel.

Good point---that would make the CG one third of the way back from the center of the front wheels to the center of the rear.
