Wings-And-Warriors 2nd Annual Recognition Ride
The ride starts at the Anchors Country Bar, 606 South Santa Fe Avenue in Fountain. Registration is at 9:00 am and the motorcycles go out at 10:30 am. The ride fee is $17.00 per rider or $25.00 with a passenger. The ride will go through Penrose, Canon City, continue on to Highway 9 to Guffey, and to Colorado Springs via Highway 24 and 25. The ride ends with a 50/50 drawing, music, food, and more. All proceeds will go to help veterans receive service dogs through Wings-And-Warriors. For more information call (719) 339-3993,

The event will take place on Bennett Avenue between 1st and 4th Streets beginning at 10:00 am each day. The event includes a poker run, a veterans' parade, a POW MIA Recognition Ride, vendors, POW/MIA remembrance ceremony, The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, a street dance, and live music. The ride starts at Woodland Park High School, 151 N. Baldwin Street in Woodland Park. Registration begins at 8:30 am and motorcycles go out at 11:00 am.
