Man! I think I live in da hood!
Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?
-
-
Ok that makes sense as I am rather close to you on this for my 2016. Location location location - Appreciated!
But they were still charging me the 350 on the 2015, but wanted the 750 like I said for the 2016 CRAZY
-
Paying $350 a year with some extra items that Dan advised me on. It's through Allstate here in TX
-
MMMMM you may want to check that out ..... That won't get me one sling and I have a perfect record. ( $828 / year for the sling for me with State Farm 250/500 )
I really feel bad for most of you. I live in rural Indiana, just got my bill from State Farm for the Slingshot yesterday. I have the same coverage ($1000 deductible) and my annual is.....
$292 and change.
Then again, they know you likely drive it on joy rides nearly every day there! -
Ok How many of you 3 miles from the house get on to a three lane on ramp to a seven lane each direction freeway?
However I am totally envious as it takes Paula and I about 30 minutes to GET to our ride when you guys leave your driveway and you are ON your ride!
Insurance wise I probably see more cars getting to the on-ramp than you guys will see all day and most of them pretty much want to kill me! -
SoCal I have Nationwide full coverage ... good record ... $325.00 annual. Give Dan a call in Texas and see if he can do something. He has more Slingshots insured than anybody... Been doing it across state lines since the 'early' days.
pasted-from-clipboard.pngI know rates vary all over the place and different reasons ... maybe time to 'shop'.

Thanks EJ
Right now I can use the help!

I think I did call him a way back. It is all about your location. But I will shout out again and see. Never hurts to ask. Appreciated!
-
I'm shopping my own rates right now. Dan got me a great deal last year. He's zero for four returning my calls (after speaking with him on the phone) this year.
-
I just sent an email - we will see....
-
I highly suspect that Southern California insurance rates will always be higher than most other places in the country - we just have so many more cars on the road combined with things like unlicensed drivers and so much more heavy traffic that the accident rate and insurance claim rates make the cost on insurance higher
even being out here in a less congested area I am still paying $775 a year for the Slingshot
Although I must add that they do know its my daily driver so that might push it up a bit

wow I just got mine registered for four more years. That’s how they do it down here in coon ass land. Cost me a total of $12 plus a $1 for doing it online.

Well here in CA they add huge fees and taxes to maintain or roads - they do the same thing with the price of a gallon of gas - - - of course our roads still suck and they still say they need more, but what can you do when you have a socialist government

Wow! I can only dream!
Hope you and your family are all doing well in "coonass" land! I bet the swamp is alive with water lilies now. So beautiful!

Mine was around $250 for plates and registration. About the same there.
