Ruby's resting at home today. Took her out of the garage so she could smell the flowers for awhile!
Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

Doc, if my property was as beautiful as yours, I'd never leave the driveway... lol
-
Nice driveway Doc

Y'all are welcome to come over, see the lovely driveway, heck we'll even invite you in for a beer & some dinner! I'll personally conduct your tour of the whole ranch... and bring some ammo for the firing range too!

The wife and I spent about 7 total hours carving some North Georgia mountain roads this past weekend. Even found a nice mountain stream to take a lunch break by.

Weather should warm up a little in the next few days....and it's nice to be in part of the country where I can pull out of my driveway with my Slingshot and ride thru the country side and not be bothered by my local Leo's ...

Even if you got pulled over EJ, you're so smooth, they wouldn't even think of writing you up!!
In fact, you'd be posting pics of said Officer sitting in your SS!!! -
Doc, hopefully next time Mermaid and I are up that way seeing my brother, we will take you up on the offer

7:00 AM about 57 degrees outside and sunny - - I am headed off to work and yes, I am taking the Sling

There are one or two perfect days for a portrait. The sun is out, the sky is blue with just a couple little clouds, the trees are in bloom, the lawn is that iridescent green....
So here you go, Ruby's spring portrait!

I think these are apples, but they've never borne fruit. Very pretty, though - for about a week anyway, then the flowers fall off rather quickly.
I'm feeling lots better, but still very tired. Went out back and sat in a lawn chair a couple times for a total of about an hour - that felt great!

No where. For the last couple of weeks. And the next couple. Rained all last week, and now on "Shelter in Place" lock down so I won't be driving anywhere soon.
Went to the grocery store today (Took the truck). I think I spent more time outside in line (6' apart) waiting to go in than I actually did inside. Shelves were pretty thin but got most (80%+) of what I wanted, although I had to change to some things I don't normally buy (like Free-Range All Organic Brown Eggs - at $4.50/dozen!! and Chicken Tortilla soup for $9 a qt!). Still spent $100 for 1/2 a cart. $3 of that was on 2 packages of Little Debbie cakes - if I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die happy! (Swiss Rolls in the Freezer! Mmmmmm!!!)

I will say that when our governor gave his speech announcing the state wide stay at home order that it was still okay to go outside to exercise and take the dog for a walk or go for a hike - he just said when you do things like this we should not do it in groups and that we should social distance.
Considering this I have assumed it is perfectly within the scope of the order for me to go on rides in my slingshot - I havent ridden with anyone else in this time, but I also assume that would be acceptable just so long as we didnt hang out in groups at an unsafe distance when we were not in the slingshots
Hell - to me riding in the slingshot seems to be about the best thing I could do to keep a safe social distance from others

Back in the day I use to known all of our LEO's by name, now I just wave at the all of their car's. There are a few that know that I could be their back-up if they were in trouble.
