Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

Nice! What cha got going on with the front lower spoiler? Lights?
-
ok, here's your fall foliage fix
1st is Mt Katahdin looking from the northeast a couple of days ago
2nd is Mt Katahdin today looking from the south, with some snow on top.
Katahdin is about 20 from me
I would have to say the commitment to being a SS person perhaps may just run deeper ( if possible) with the owner that only has a short window of use. It's easy to have and justify having one in Cali but Maine.. GFU! I remember going down stairs as a young buck and just staring at my MC impatiently waiting for spring....

The great thing about the Slingshot is that riding in cold weather works … I ride in Northern Indiana as long as there is NO snow on the road. I don't worry about the 'salt/chemicals' ---- rain will wash that all off in the Spring.

agreed, but i'll modify that slightly, I don't drive in cold weather if the roads are wet, as you can't tell if it's just wet or black ice.

They are single led, spaced out, yes.

Those look very nice! Equally spaced, not to many but enough to present it well! Kudos! Perhaps a pic later in twilight, showing them on? I have only had my "new to me" SS for 2 weeks (other one should leave the stable this week) but I have all the performance/handling things I need for it. Might be interested in a few well placed LED's, and these could just fit in with that bill.......

Mt Palomar observatory beautiful day! Then to Julian for lunch and apple festival.
Fun Fact: My family was the 7th family in Julian! Way before it became a tourist town. Spend a lot of childhood Christmas's up there (except the one time it snowed so bad, we couldn't get to the house - we were just 100's of feet away, could see it, but couldn't get to it.). I think my grandfather said that over time, he owned over 30+ different properties up there. My dad still has a couple of lots there.

I'm juggling vehicles today / this weekend. Due to a work camping trip, I need to be in Dallas all weekend. It's a team building thing we do every year, sit around the camp fire, drink beer, tell war stories, bond, fun times. So, need my truck so I can pull the camper.
I also volunteered for a charity ride with the sling, so needed it in the area too.
So, rode the sling and parked it at my brothers house (did not leave the key, don't trust him)
2.5 hours there and another 2.5 home in the truck. Son wasn't really happy to have to help me ferry. Wait until early next week and we get to repeat
I had fun riding up to Dallas, until downtown traffic. It wouldn't have been so bad, but the son doesn't like driving my dually, especially in heavy traffic, and I didn't want to run off and leave him, so I got decent gas mileage on the run in.
Weather was freaking awesome, hit a high of 83 today here, didn't even have to use my ventisit!

Nice little ride over a newly paved pass. It was always paved on the East side of the pass and now is paved on the west side. Colorado, gotta love it... 78 yesterday for the ride, 23 here this morning.....

This was actually Monday -- started in Santa Cruz, brief stop @ Pigeon Point Lighthouse, then home. 50 miles.

I don’t live but couple hours away. I live in Arkansas, north of Minden. Just haven't rode that way yet. Town is a lot bigger than I thought, that's for sure.
