Rode into Dallas today to meet up with some co-workers for a happy hour. Took a couple of them for a ride too. Lots of smiles

Somebody been a busy boy. Good job!
I'm with you on the cooling fan.
Kinda like a fart in a tornado...
You know there's one in it, but does it make any
difference.
The longevity of that fan, mounted in a Slingshot, would be highly suspect.
Not much else I could offer for use of that fan, maybe electronics cooling. But it was food for thought. Thanks.

The fan is a experiment. Trying to remove heat from footwells. My next design might be a larger radiator fan underneath.

Madstad adjustable windshield fixed that for us. In the down position, heat in the footwells stays (a great thing for some rides and evenings in Indiana). In the raised position, (even the day I installed it at over 90 degrees) when you hit a shaded area.... you will feel like the AC is on. It sucks the heat out of the footwells with a little speed. For us, it is a "Never regret" type of mod.

I have the Madstad windshield and it works a little but Iam looking for more!

I'm using a bilge fan under the passenger seat. It's been installed for two years and still works great. It's waterproof so durability isnt an issue.

Thinking of putting a vent intake here that will have a car dash open/close type cover under the glove box for the misses for our winter trips. And perhaps running a duct intake “tube” if you will extension to/by the manifold . My concern is exhaust fumes coming in. It will not be fan driven so perhaps exhaust will not be an issue.
Any one out there done something like this? Thoughts?
-
Socal, I would expect that would bring in more heat.

Do you have a rear exhaust system or the pot belly stove? If it’s the latter I would be seriously concerned about carbon monoxide Fumes coming in. All the fumes should be blown out under the foot well but at a stop probably not. And with the way the wind swirls around the bathtub there is no way to be sure what’s going on.

for our winter trips.
ummm, you mean make believe winter right?
