I loved to drive on roads in that condition when I was a kid in Iowa. Lots of fun seeing how many times you could do 360s and recover going the same direction. You could do a 4 wheel drift around a corned and not even wear out any rubber. I think it would be a blast in the Slingshot. My7 dad had a guy that worked for him that drove his Harely Electro Glide to work unless there was more then a foot of snow on the road.
Have not met Jared or Heather. We do text each other from time to time. I was hoping we would get together for a ride last year. He is in Newport, about 90 minutes from my shop. Then the Covid deal squashed the plans to be made.
Tried to get him to meet my daughter and her husband while they were in Newport last month. When I contacted him about it, the Navy doesn't allow being out unless for groceries and gas.
10’ out of the garage for a bath. Ready for the AM - destination TBT.
Looks great my friend. Just have to love the love you give your sling.
I cut grass for most of the day and then hopped in the sling to run some errands. Crazy thing was my wife did not think my procedure was efficient. She gave me a list of things to do and pick up and I did them one at a time. Ran to the store picked up an item brought it home then went on to the next item on the list. She actually though that since all the items were in the same store I could do it in one trip. Woman?
I took her to the Happy Place for an ice cream cone! I am now forgiven
I have reeled it in a tad. Don’t want to bugger up this sling. She is really growing on me.
I lost a friend to cancer this week and it is a stark reminder how precious a gift each day is. A good ride and a clear head is what we need. I’m already catching myself smiling from time to time. He was an original and a gift.
