Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

  • I was about to tell Doc that Georgia and I had dinner in Eureka Springs Thur evening with Darrel and Patti --- We were in Branson for a week of R&R. Now you want to to let all the young ladies sit in my Slingshot.

Sorry I missed you two . We would surely have been there, but unfortunately I am in Hell’s Front Porch getting load number four. I borrowed a pic from mytoy

This is a 15 cubic yard container. Hopefully will finish with it tomorrow cause they are picking up Monday morning.

Talking to Darrel hope to come down in the Spring for a weekend (long) ...

  • Headed up to Cripple Creek, CO today with a few other slings. While it was close to 80 driving up there coming home after dark was 43 which is fine until you get to interstate speeds. Electric blanket worked, but kinda parachuted a bit. Next time when I try to leave as the sun is going down maybe the wife will come out of the casino :D

Are there any young ladies left that have NOT sat in your Slingshot?? You sly ole dog - I think you may have had em all in that seat- time to start over :00008172:

I might not be right but I can sure sound like it

  • The "Tell Doc" rule is "before not after"!

Hope to see you next time! 👌

We did not bring the Slingshot down... Georgia had hip surgery 15 Sept 2020 and is not getting around good enough to get in/out of Slingshot. We weren't sure when we headed to Branson if we were going to be able to make it a week....were at home so she will be able to rest a little and do the things she need to do to get stronger.

  • Valley Forge PA. Time was limited, I wish I had more time to explore. This is a must to go back when I can visit with the wife and really get into the history. Temps were in the mid 30's at start but warmed up to low 60's. I had the opportunity to use my new gloves (as Doc, and a few others have). Set the temp to low and hands felt like room temp. The gloves are insulated fairly well. Enough insulation that they are effective without heat applied but when needed its at your finger tips.

My prayers are for both of you. Give Georgia my best!

The smarter you get, the funnier I am.

  • Had a great time this weekend - part of my CVMA family met at Cabot, AR on Friday morning. Took Hwy 5 to AR-124 to Hwy 65 - to AR 7. Just a warmup for AR-123 (The Arkansas Dragon) Damn I love driving that road. Then to Jasper AR and on to the Old Dogpatch to stay at the HUB at about 4:30. Saturday did the roads to Ponca and the surrounding country. By the time we made it home Sunday to Little Rock, we had about 600 miles of driving. Wife's face was a little chapped from all the wind therapy, but she loved every mile. Leaves are just starting to turn. Love to hear my buddies tell me how great they ride the twisties, until I tell them I'm on my brakes half the time waiting for them to speed up lol

Doc - if the forecast would have held out, I would have given you a shout as we had planned to go through Fayetteville to see my brother, but didn't want to chance it.

  • Allentown NJ. A nice little town in NJ. Not to be confused with Allentown PA, The much larger city made famous by the Billy Joel song (also has some nice things to offer).

  • Went for a leaf peeping ride today with stops at Alum Creek and Delaware State parks. There was a little too much chop on the water for good reflections so here's Rosie in the parking lot

Had great weather with a hi of 82 but it'll probably be our last 80° day this year.

  • I love those rims brother!!

I hope the trailer worked out to your liking!!

Thanks, the trailer is great. I got to use it twice for its intended purpose this summer and both times it saved me from getting soaked. I added some lighting inside and some backup lights, should have listened to you a little more closely but it's all good now 😜🤪😉
