I recently had the recall on the headlights taken care of. I purchased a set of LED running / turn signal combo. Installed them between the lower two front fins. The issue is, the white running lights work as normal. When I use the turn signals, the instrument light stays on and I don't have turn signals. I disconnected the amber turn lights and all is good. Any heads up would help.
After the lighting recall - need help

Hate to offer up this overly simplistic approach BUT in older vehicles that's exactly what would happen when a signal bulb was dead and needed replacing. Another rule of thumb was to always look first at last thing done which seems to fit this scenario. Might pay to look at the Polaris bulletin as to exactly what they are supposed to do on the headlight recall and then compare it to what was done.

Thanks Flybuddy, I totally Agree with both your statements. Polaris added another relay as one wasn't enough to handle the load of 4 lights causing wire melt down in the fuse panel. Again I agree with that fix. However I need some advise as to figuring out where the blinker relay is located and if I may also need an equalizer?

Over on the other site, a forum member was trying to install some 12V LED turn signals, but the Polaris LED turn signals were around 5V and wouldn't trigger his 12V relay. IIRC, he finally found a 5V relay. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the thread. I think this was all back in 2015.
Found the thread. Here it is - My first mod | Polaris Slingshot Forum
Hope this might help. -
Thank You BKL I'll have to look into this. I think the 5v may be the stumbling block.

Wish I could have provided a more definitive answer. Hope everything gets resolved for you.

Not sure if it will help, but I bought a LED kit like that, so maybe these instructions will help you. I have not installed yet.

Did install today. Looks nice. When off they are hard to see. Blend in with hood.
